My husband is a contractor who purchased this item for a customer of his. He picked this brand for her and everyone is happy with it. Keep in mind he is a professional, but he felt it was easy to install and works well. He did build a framed area for it so it will always raise exactly where it is supposed to. The customer is a lady who lives in a big house by herself. She likes to decorate for all the seasons and holidays. She keeps this decor stored in her attic. However, her house is large and the path to the attic is not easy to navigate while carrying decoration boxes. She hired my husband it install this in her garage. He made an opening into the attic in the garage and framed an area to hold the lift. It is now super easy to load the items in the lift and raise it them to the attic. She does have to then go through the house to get to the attic herself, but it is then super easy to unload the boxes back to their storage spot.His customer was so happy, she could not stop playing with it and actually opened her store late the first day after she got it because she kept playing with it. Now that is a happy customer!

This is a great investment in your home. Was installed easily on a very hot Saturday in June. There were no problems with the installation. The instructions are very easy to follow. The lift will make it much easier to move holiday decoration up to the attic.

Very good for moving heavy items to storage. Absolutely requires 2 people to install. A Godsend.

We are very pleased with our purchase of the Versalift product. One of the reasons we purchased our new house was the great storage area above the garage – perfect for our storage needs. The problem however was that with 10 foot ceilings and a narrow fold down ladder, getting the containers into the attic was very difficult. The Versalift from Cynergy was our solution! The unit was not difficult to assemble and install – we did it ourselves. The wireless remote control adds to the convenience of the unit and we would highly recommend this product for anyone needing a simple and convenient way to access your attic storage. This is a 5-star product! I purchased a standard model 24 with wired control and was impressed from the time I opened the box. All of the parts were easily identifiable and the quality of workmanship and construction was evident immediately. I asked that my Versa Lift be cut down due to restricted attic space and you couldn't tell by looking at it that the system was not original off the assembly line. The Lift was relatively easy to assemble with common hand tools. Although an individual may be able to assemble the lift it's much easier with a second pair of hands; particularly when moving the power head into the attic. A second individual also helps when squaring the system in the opening and making minor adjustments. I was able to complete the assembly and installation in approximately 6 hours. The convenience and safety aspects of this product are well worth the cost.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Installed this with my son in about 6 hours including framing the opening, running new electrical, assembling the lift and running the low voltage switch gear. We bought the model with wall switches, one for the upstairs and one for down. This will work better for us than a wireless remote or wired controller. So far, works great.Don't forget the big red power button by the power cord. If you install with the power cord towards the exterior wall, you won't see it and will wonder why your lift doesn't work. Yep - voice of experience.

The system arrived in 3 boxes, all necessary parts were included, along with great instructions. I had already cut my rough opening (based on the instructions I downloaded) prior to my Versa Lift arriving. The assembly was fast and easy, the instructions were easy to follow. The Versa Lift works great! It is so much better than trying to carry heavy boxes up the ladder. Highly recommended!

I purchased the versalift through my contractor and it arrived as scheduled and he was able to install it frame and all the same day. I moved to the home shortly thereafter and it was all I hoped in allowing me to move multiple boxes to the attic by myself. I would not have been able to carry them through a narrow ladder opening plus many were book boxes that were quite heavy. I got the remote control unit and it stops automatically at the top and the bottom so not a worry. I recommend the device to help with an otherwise bad task.
