The floor is dull and not porcelain. I'm not sure what the floor is made of.** A: We just recently had a 50 year old cast iron tub completely recovered with what appeared to be something like fiber-glass. It is non-slip and works great. **Q: How many square feet does a bottle cover and how long is the dry time?** A: we covered one bathtub about an inch up the sides. that was it. the key is to completely clean the tub and let it dry thoroughly before applying the no-slip. the bottle says dry time is relatively short. we let it dry overnight. while it is still in place, we have noticed that there are bald spots on the tub. do not use any abrasive cleaner on the tub once applied - you'll scrub it off. hope this helps. **Q: Can I use this on a tile shower floor?** A: It was not as good as they said? Had to re-place it after 1 year I tryed a spray on it was better.
