**Q: can walking stick be used by adult man as a cane?**
A: No.  Although it is sturdy, it is a decorative piece.  The Entire (snake and neck) top slides out to be the wand, which would be risky if you were using it for support.  The snakes teeth are very sharp so you could not be able grip the top without risking injury.   You can "walk" with it for show or a costume, but I would not use it as a substitute for a cane.
