I needed more light for working on my desk because my old lamp with an incandescent light bulb wasn't bright enough, so I decided to buy a LED lamp this time around. I spent a few days to research many different types of LED desk lamps before deciding to buy this one. I looked at traditional lamps that sit on the desk but those tend to take up too much space, and I hated my old lamp because of it. I also wanted a lamp that is flexible, with adjustable color temperatures, and has many as many features as possible for cheaper than $50. After looking at hundreds of lamps, this is the lamp that I decided on because it fits all my requirements. I was very happy that I bought this lamp after turning it on the first time, and I hope that it will last me several years because I like it that much.I like the easy to use controls, the three lighting color temperature modes, and the ability to adjust the lamp to different viewing angles. The buttons for the control are very responsive, intuitive, and feel good in the hand. The ability to change between three lighting color temperature modes is very nice; one of the modes is sure to fit your needs, whether you prefer a warm comfortable light or a cool light for detail oriented tasks. The brightness levels are calibrated very well. At the lowest brightness level, there's still enough light to see little details of everything under the lamp. At the highest brightness level, it's enough to light up the entire work area without needing another light source. The power cable is long, so there's no need to worry about it not reaching your power outlet. A USB charger adapter is also included, although there is the option to power the lamp with the USB plug. The lamp is made of metal and feel very sturdy despite being lightweight and easy to carry. The tension springs and tight connections at the points of rotation ensure that the lamp stays fixed in the desired position without falling down. There's even two knobs that you can turn to tighten the connections more if they ever get loose. It is obvious that a lot of thought was put into the lamp's design. This is the first lamp with an adjustable arm that I have ever used, and after using this one, I won't be going back to the traditional desk lamps anymore because the flexibility is just so much more convenient.For the price of only $22 at the time of review, I cannot think of a better option if you're looking for a feature-packed budget lamp. The media could not be loaded. I’m a nail tech, and I’ve been searching for a lamp with adequate brightness for awhile now. This is the 4th one I’ve purchased in about 4 months. And I highly recommend this one above any of the others that I have purchased. For a few reasons.1. As I said, the brightness is the brightest I’ve found at full speed it is plenty to light up my entire desk, and it has a dimming feature with 10 levels in case you find it too bright for whatever your intended purpose is. It also has 3 color modes, warm light, white warm, and white LED light. I definitely prefer white because that’s the brightest in my opinion, and it allows me to see the colors I’m using true to life.2. It’s super easy to change the setting mode / brightness / turn on and off because it has a little remote button attached to the cord right below the lamp.3. It’s super affordable for the qualityAnd 4. My favorite feature - This lamp has EXTREMELY good maneuverability. You can pull it all the way down super close to the table, or push it way up out of the way. It has 3 adjustable joints to move it any which way, and the light itself can be tilted forward or back as well.I was afraid the clamp wouldn’t clamp onto my desk because the top part of the desk has a curved surface, but the clamp is really sturdy so it’s holding up just fine for now! I did have to take the frosted glass table top off that I use to protect the wood from getting any more damaged by my nail solutions and to hide the parts I had already made from spilling acetone, acrylic liquid etc. I took it off so I could clamp it to the edge without it skipping, but I’m going to buy another smaller piece of glass that will fit around it because I love this lamp. Not returning it! Lol! You won’t regret this purchase I loveeee it and I’m pretty sure you will too!

My application is lighting a workspace for electronics development. I like the light, thin, rigid construction of everything, making the lamp unobtrusive even when right within my workspace. The articulation is very smooth, and the lamp stays anywhere you put it. The balance of spring tension, friction, and gravity is perfect, with two smoothly operating friction adjustments. The lamp is designed for full extension across the workspace, and so won't operate well if clamped to the back of a desktop against a wall. This is a minor issue however, and is a limitation of all such articulated lamps. The lamp needs to be clamped to the desk somewhere away from a wall.The light from the lamp is very bright but very diffuse, producing uniform, high-quality illumination that can be aimed in any direction.As for controls, I never like any control being in-line with the power cord - I prefer it to be on the lamp. But I drape the cord in a way that makes the control always accessible. Still, the LED on the small control panel makes it easy to locate the on/off button, and the control is easy to use, with large glyphs on the buttons that make sense. The brightness control is a good feature, but I have little need for the color control. It might seem a small issue, but I like that there are separate + and - controls for brightness instead of a single button that rotates through the brightness levels, making adjustment easier.
