I think it’s still just as good. **Q: How much salt per serving?** A: There is quite a bit of salt in this product, listed at 2400 milligrams per serving, with two servings in each packet. split between the noodles and the flavoring packets. So one packet contains about 5 grams of salt, about a sixth of an ounce, a little less than half a teaspoon. So this is definitely not aimed at people on a salt restricted diet. **Q: Are this noodle spicy?** A: It's spicy tasty but not overly spicy hot. I’m very particular about the authenticity of any cuisine, even more so Singaporean, Malaysian and Indonesian (my Asian cuisines of choice). I’ve ordered this brand consistently in the last 5 years, I easily rate Prima Taste Laksa a solid 5. While this is an instant noodle it is in a class of its own! Is it pricey? Not for how delicious and high quality it offers, it’s a meal when done right can rival any Singaporean restaurant here in the United States. One packet easily serves 2 for a light lunch, noodle has a good chewiness and not soggy. For my taste, I like the intensity of the sauce so adjust the water according to your taste. I like to add fresh shrimp, tofu and half a hard-boiled egg. I recently experimented adding a tablespoon (or 2) of Homiah Sambal Shrimp Crispy Crunch to give it even more mouth fill as I remember the version I had growing up. For those adventurous foodies, try it.
