Wow. This works amazing with my phone and Alexa. I can turn it off or on when I am not home and I can set it to any brightness or color. The light works well, but I do have to say the colors on the app are not always to to the colors that appear when you light up the light. For example, a pink color on the light shows up as white with a tiny pink hue. I rarely use the remote as I have my phone and Alexa. Not to mention, the set up was easy and quick. I’ve had great experiences with the Govee customer support which is a bonus. If your lights break or stop working, they WILL help you out. They’ve literally refunded a broken light for me. One negative though, after a couple months with the lights, you can tell that the closer the light is the connection cord, the brighter and vibrant the color is. I wouldn’t say it makes much of a difference but it is definitely noticeable. Otherwise, it was an amazing purchase and a perfect fit to my room.

Cons: White color accuracy is not as clean as I would have liked. It takes on a slightly green tinge in some areas. It's not segmented like the Govee Dreamcolor RGBIC lights, so if you're looking to replace those with these, take that into consideration; they aren't nearly as customizable and aren't as flashy. They also cannot be unplugged from the power supply, which made it very tough to install because of the shape of the room I put them in. They aren't waterproof, which is a good and bad thing; no silicon coating means they could last longer due to them being able to release heat easier. I have emailed Govee about soldering them as well: if you solder more strips on to extend the length of strips like these, there's a good chance it won't work because the power supply is only made for a certain length. In short, you can only take away, not add on. The remote can barely penetrate though anything blocking the sensor.Pros: They can be cut to fit as long as you cut on the line where the scissors are; cut anywhere else and you will kill the strip. They work with the Govee home app, which seems to be a lot better than the remote. They're pretty bright, their glow extending to about a foot from the area you install them in before dying out. They may not be as customizable as the Govee dream color lights, but they do have a lot more than what I initially thought. They can pulse with music and can do a basic, 1 color at a time version of the dream color lights.Overall: The strips are pretty good. They give a lot of coverage and can still look good. They got some annoying issues, but I do believe they're worth it.

Wrapped the ceiling in my teen sons room. He mentioned wanting LED lights and i used that as an excuse to have a reason to install them for the wife. I always wanted them too. Lol. They stick into the muzata 103 track very well and are easy to splice for corners with the connectors (bought separately). They respond to music and sound well. Remote works as it should, although a bit basic. App is easy to use and took a but of fiddling to connect it to echo/alexa. Has an inline controller for ultra basic funtions, color change, power, music. Im buying more for my teen daughters room and now that she has seen them my wife is considering under cabinet lighting for the kitchen. Everyone wins with govee lighting.

these light are THE BEST lights you can find anywhere i have been searching for led lights for awhile and i love these they connect to alexa and have a lot of color options one downside is the remote only has three color options but when you download the app there is a bunch more!!

These were a little long for what I needed but the price was right, and I was able to trim to fit.These are stuck on top of a wooden beam in a remodel of the basement. The controller is in the back closet and connected to Google Home with no issues. We control this with the App or voice commands. I also have a couple other Govee products quality so far has been great for me. Ill try to post better images of the light.

Bought these for my 17 yr olds bedroom because they're all craze on TikTok. Super easy to install. A lot easier and faster if you have an assistant. Took about an hour to do the whole bedroom. It took almost all 50 feet of the light strip. Once finished and plugged in my teenager did the honors of switching them on and both of our jaws dropped. Their room looked soooo awesome. They were super geeked and I was super jealous. I just my get these for my mancave. Overall very satisfied with product and would recommend.
