Make Your Move: Hannaford Prep, Year Two

Sophmore Year Success!
Make Your Move is the follow up to Just Drop Out from J. Bree. This book is a great follow up to the first book, and a slow burn leading up to Lips dating her three boys.I love that J. Bree keeps this book PG as the characters are only sophomores in High School, and dealing with some pretty heavy stuff. They continue to have problems with Ash and Avery's brother Joey. Blaise, and Harley continue to have problems of their own. This book definitely builds up the sexual chemistry and tension between Lips and the three boys separately.J. Bree keeps Lips friendship with Avery separate from each of their relationships with the three boys. She continues to stay strong and independent despite having these new relationships in her life that she can lean on. I love that Bree keeps Lips her own person and continues to get stronger because of her relationships. The awkwardness with Lips with Ash, Blaise, and Harley makes for some good chuckles as the boys navigate what it's like to want someone they can't have.Of course Lips continues to face her own challenges being the wolf, and keeping peace with the Jackal. I hope to see more of her Mount Bay life in next book to get a clearer picture of her history before Hannaford Prep along with what summer is truly like for her as her Wolf persona.

Favorite book in the series (the redemption is so sweet)
If you read my review of the first book in the series, you know that this series is my favorite of all time in the several hundred books I have read. If I could only take one form of entertainment with me to a deserted island it would be this book series I would bring. That being said, this second book "Make Your Move" is my favorite book in the series and that's saying something because the entire series is epic and in some ways each book just gets better. In the first book JDO, we are introduced to these epic characters and we experience Lips triumphing over some pretty tough bullying. She is fierce but with heart. Lips is my all-time favorite FMC but I yammered on about her in the first review so I'll leave it at that for this one. :) In this second book we see the table turn and Lips has so many shining moments where we get to experience her through the eyes of Avery, Harley, Blaise, and Ash who are starting to really see her for the fierce, strong, loyal, protective person she is and they want her now. I love her friendship with Avery. It's unlike anything I have read in any other books before. The friendship between these two girls is the front and center plot line of this second book and you will come to love the "dictator and the assassin" as a dynamic duo. If you're like me you'll envy the unbreakable bond of friendship and loyalty they have. It's not a romantic relationship but it is a relationship built on love and loyalty that rivals some of the best romantic relationships penned. This books also has the redemption of the male characters but it builds on a different timeline and set of circumstances for each guy which keeps each relationship unique and plausible. It's sooo fun to watch them realize their mistakes and make their plays to get back in her good graces. I love this book (and series) so hard. If you haven't started this series, I can't stress enough how good it is and you're in luck because the full series is released, no anxiously waiting for the "next book" to release. Go on! Start this series. Lose sleep over it just like I did. ;)

A very anticipated book in the series
I found this author accitentally - was searching for a good bully/high-school book on amazon and gave it a try. At that moment only Just Drop Out was published and not many reviews as well. I rarely try books eith only few reviews, but after reading a sample I could not one-click the first book in the series. I read that book in one breath and gave full 5-star review afterwards. The book blew me away in the good sense of the word. I started to follow the author and even joined her readers group just to obsess a bit more. The author promised second book at the very end of September, but we got it at the very start of October... wow... what a ride again. First, I love Lips, actually I adore her. She is not your usual shy/difficult/a bit st*pid FMC, noo... she is fierce, with connections and with dreams for future. She loves and hates fiercely and she is a fantastic friend. I’d like to have such a friend in high-school. The RH theme is still very young and developing slowly making it all more believable like Lips, the guys, Avery and me need to get used to it. Definitely recommend it! :) even to those who pretty much hate anything RH!

An amazing second book to the series.
Let’s be honest here, anyone that gives this less then a 5 star is kidding themselves. This was such a great book. First off, the MC stayed strong throughout the entire series. Each character was written in so well and none of them were forgotten. The Character building was phenomenal and not over bearing. You got to learn about each guy without going page after page getting useless information. A lot of Scenarios were relatable and felt like they could actually happen and not a bunch of drama happening just because.I loved this book so much and I can’t wait for the next one to come out tomorrow. I highly recommend this series!

Give me more!
I just cannot get enough of this author and this amazing series!!! Hands down my favorite series of the entire year! I love how fierce and loyal Lips is and she’s just a complete bada** lady!! I love how everyone’s come together in this book and how much of an amazing protective bestie Avery is! I would kill for someone like her to have my back! And the guys (swoon)!!! I can’t wait for the next book, and to see sh*t go down with the jackal! I’m pretty sure the Wolf is about to send her regards!

Ok, it's real.
Can I keep them???? They're so cute. I'm an abso-blooming-lutely in total meltdown mode. I need a large coffee, liberally laced with whiskey, a huge piece of Japanese jiggly cheesecake, ice cream & a place to sulk for a week. These two books are totally AWESOME!!!! I am in awe, I love the storyline, the characters, the twists & turns of the plot, the games & plans, it's fan-frigging-tastic. The relationship between Lips & the guys is hilarious to watch, Avery is such a 'dictator in power', & I'm excited to see where this will end up. The Jackal has called her home, it is time to pay the piper.

I have all the feels for this book!
J Bree can do no wrong! Just Drop Out was her first novel and this is the second. There’s always a chance that book 2 isn’t going to be as good as book 1 when the novelty wears off but this is definitely not the case here. This book is where we see the start of the first real connections Lips has made in her life and the emotions she feels about her new bestie and her new men! The fact that Lips seems unaware at first that some of the guys are into her makes it all the more refreshing, Insta-love is not my thing. The character development is key in this book, they’re getting to know themselves and each other and it’s wonderful to see! When it becomes them against everyone else is when you desperately want to be part of their group and when you know J Bree has you hooked in for life! This book is pure emotion and barely restrained violence, Lips’ past and her present are coming together and at the end of the book they collide!Must read!

Went off with a BANG!!
Now that's what I'm talking about!! This second book is SO much better!! I mean the first book was good but I guess the author had to build the story and characters whereas this book went off with a bang and had me once again hooked!! I enjoyed the characters alot more in this book (always loved lips) but I also really like avery too now. And don't get me started on those boys 😉😅 ... the ending has me already getting the next book, her two worlds have finally collided and I'm excited but nervous for lips and worried for a certain guy who is in jackals line of vison 😬😬

Must read
If you didn’t already fall in love with all things Hannaford after reading Just Drop Out, then start reading this because it only gets better. I don’t want to start quoting lines or highlighting parts, the whole book (series) is so good and I just want everyone to read it and experience it. It’s most definitely one of the best series I have read and also keep reading.
