Not as large as traditional bento boxes but the three compartments can hold enough food to make for a satisfying lunch. I haven't used them in a dishwasher---I would recommend hand washing to lengthen the life of the product. The small utensils that come with it are convenient and fun to use. This size fits perfectly in my tote bag. Had a starburst in center of lid, and the rubber grommet did not stay in place. I also love the neutral color. I do plan on ordering two more in the other colors though. There were just two issues that I noticed after using it for a week. This may just be my specific product but I noticed one latch always has issues snapping shut. No biggie though, just need to fiddle with it a bit. The other issue is that rubber lining thing (not sure of its actual name lol) around the inside of the top lid. It loves to keep coming off and won't stay put!! That part drives me nuts. I have another bento box from a different seller and it always stays in place, never pops off.
