I picked up a set of 40/60/80/120 grit discs for my angle grinder, and they’ve proven to be quite the handy addition to my Land Rover restoration toolkit. While they may not be the latest culinary invention or the next big tech breakthrough, they certainly get the job done. These discs are like a good cup of tea—dependable and effective. They made short work of removing the stubborn, thick black paint from my Landy, which is no small feat. The different grits are like having a range of tools for different jobs—kind of like having various degrees of spice in your cooking, from mild to ‘watch out’ hot. It means I could strip paint without turning my vehicle into a tragic art project of accidental damage. For the price, they’re definitely not asking for a king’s ransom, which is always a plus. It’s like getting a decent pint for a reasonable price—good value without any of the pretension. The discs didn’t leave me feeling like I’d been fleeced, and they did a solid job on the old bodywork, keeping it intact while getting rid of the unwanted paint. In short, these flap discs might not change the world, but they’re a reliable, cost-effective tool for any restoration project. 8/10—because while they’re not the next big thing, they’re certainly a great addition to the toolbox. These flap discs are really good i only use them on my woodworking projects and they do an excellent job and in my opinion they are great value for the money. Having been using them for some time eventually they get clogged up but a good scrub with a stiff nylon brush cleans them up as good as new and ready to get back to it.

Would have got 5-stars but the pack contents were not as advertised. There’s supposed to be an equal mix of 40, 60, 80 and 120 grit, but the box only contained 60 and 80. They’re OK for my needs though, I certainly wouldn’t need 40 grit, and I don’t particularly need 120.

Great - work as advertised. OK, I could do with some finer grit ones but will switch to hand sanding when I get to that point in the project these were purchased for.
