This may seem silly to some, but to me, this was a way to help my elderly dog walk and not slip or fall. We tried skateboard tape, rugs... you name it. Av didn’t want to go anywhere, where there was tile. He had leg surgery and it never helped the way it should have. He would get discouraged trying to walk and would often lean on me to keep his leg from sliding. He would avoid tile, as it didn’t provide traction for him.I know these are people socks and I use them (ordered two pairs). The thickness is good, though I wouldn’t wear these with your normal shoes. These are good if you like to workout barefoot/ or without shoes and still be able to grip.The gripping is basically your entire foot (heal your toes). I ordered a medium and I am a size 7. This fits perfectly for me with a little extra room if your foot is a tad bigger.All in all, I recommend this. I love that my dog can walk without worrying about slipping.

I love these socks! After trying a variety of gripper socks, going down the line and ordering four different labels, I came to these. They looked great in the picture on line and look just as good in reality. The best part is the fit. They are so comfortable, The others I tried were too small, too big , too bulky, too loose and sliding around the foot. Some stretched after wearing for a couple of hours. The Skyba are snug and perfect, and the pads on the bottom are big enough to make me feel that I will not slip. We have hard wood floors that are so slippery that I slid and fell a few weeks ago. These socks help me to feel safe again. I liked them so much that I ordered more immediately. I recommend them highly. They are quite simply the best.

These socks are great for barre classes. They fit as expected. They are a fair price compared to the cost of barre socks in my NYC studio!The rubber beads do, however, slowly wear away but that is normal wear and tear. To protect the rubber, make sure you wash cold and line dry. Hot water and a hot dryer will cause the rubber to deteriorate very quickly.

Have been looking for "grip" socks in retail stores, and either couldn't find the right ones, or super expensive in the pilates studio. Alas, I found Skyba online, and ordered. I've worn them and found them to fit very well....performed function of gripping very well..and noticed that I didn't need extra grip pads in various exercise routines. Yet to wash, but I always wash things like this on gentle, cold water and let them air dry....so intend to do the same. And, I must commend the company for their rather attentive customer service request response I had over their online chat. It was not only efficient, helpful and felt very personable. I'm looking forward to buying more Skyba products.

Pure black yoga slippers. If you're doing any type of dance or yoga pilates anything that you would be doing barefooted but on a floor this is what you want to use. It's just a regular sock that has some grip on the bottom so you don't slip. Again I highly recommend these the other set is no different but comes with colors personal choice

I got these so that I could wear "socks" during yoga and maybe protect my feet from different gym mats. They are very sticky which is good except they make a lot of noise on a yoga mat. Every time you pick your feet up, it makes a sound. That is not very helpful for peacefulness during yoga. They do seem like they would be excellent for an urgent no-slip need like for a hospital stay or a person with a fall risk.

The socks are super soft. Depending on which activity you plan to use them for they are a very well-made, soft sock. The packaging is the nicest I’ve ever seen for this kind of simple product. Skyba as a vendor is one of the nicest and extremely eager to satisfy the customer. They respond quickly and as I learned, it is always important to share comments that you have so that the vendor has a chance to correct it. A+ for Skyba.Fran

Our first reaction and first review was a glowing 5-star positive......then we washed them and many of the gripper bubbles came off. They got all over the other items in the load...and, yes, we washed them on "Delicate" cycle on cold with like colors.They *were* exactly what we'd been looking for, for an elderly family member to wear on surfaces with slip and fall potential. She liked the fact the socks weren't fuzzy like traditional slipper socks or too thick and heavy like some yoga socks. Now they have few gripper bubbles left on them and serve us no purpose.Very disappointed in the quality.
