Legit. Works better than the original battery.
I was getting ready to scrap my aging DeWalt screw gun. Then on a lark I thought I'd look for a replacement battery. The gun was fine, it was the battery that couldn't hold a charge. The original was an older technology like Nickel Cadmium or something. And this is Lithium so I was concerned about the voltage and current, etc. I didn't do any fancy comparison tests, but it seems to work great AND has its own battery level indicator on the side. Works like a champ so far. Its great having an extra screw gun to drill with one and screw with the other. Very happy.

Lighter than original and holds charge
Great replacement Dewalt battery DW9099 for my 18V drill. The price was good and the battery is lighter than the original battery and it holds a charge for days after charging it.

Junk battery. Won't charge. Waste of money. If you want to be disappointed, buy this.
Need a battery to replace a worn out Dewalt battery. Selected this one for the higher amp hour rating. Battery won't take a charge. Have tried numerous times. Charger charges the other batteries i have , so i know it's not a defective charger. Save your money and buy Dewalt brand adapter with 18 - 20 volt batteries.

Great batteries, holds a charge at full capacity for months.
These batteries hold a full charge for months. The battery last longer than any other battery on things like saws-all's and jig saws, which tend to drain a regular battery in a matter of minutes. I cut up a 4'x8'x3/4"piece of plywood into 2"x4' strips and only used 1 bar on the batteries fuel gauge. They are very inexpensive compared two batteries you'll find in Lowe's and Home Depot, like half the price. These lion batteries will charge on the old type charger you charged the old nickel cadmium battery on. You can't go wrong withe these batteries. Get the higher milliamp batteries.

Left on charger for 10 hours and it is working fine.
Update: I put the battery on the charger this morning before I left for work.. When I got home I put the battery in my Dewalt Reciprocating saw.. It worked great! I sawed through several unwanted trees that were average about 3 inch in diameter. There seems to be plenty of power left over.

Battery shook inside the case.
Wouldn't charge off my older style Dewalt 18v charger. Says 4 bars but no juice.

You will be unhappy with these after a while.
I use these for light use around the house in drill, and saw. They were great for a while. Now one has completely failed and second will only run for a short period, then something in battery shuts it down. Wait fifteen or 20 minutes and it will run again at what seems like near full power for a short period and then shuts down again. Doesn’t seem to matter at all if fully charged or not. Made in China They are garbage.

The DeWalt 18v Ni-Cd battery solution
There are 10 3.6v cells in total. Five batters in series and 5 in parallel 5x3.6=18. Plus, a circuit board to convert the DeWalt Ni-Cd input charge voltage. Half the price of DeWalt Ni-Cd 18V batts! Less weight
