***I was given this book in return for my honest review***I must be honest, I am a lazy language learner. I have been learning Korean on and off for over 10 years now. And yet in just the first two dialogues I learned new vocabulary words and expressions. I anticipate that after finishing, I would gain some competency in expressions that would deepen my Korean understanding, and carry me one step closer to fluency....provided that I keep up with the reading.The only issue I have is that it would be helpful to maybe have a glossary of unfamiliar expressions/ vocabulary after each dialogue, but maybe it could be me asking for too much lol. If reading on your PC, I'd advise to have the naver english dictionary up on your next tab.Great resource as always.

I am learning Korean alone, so it was such a great find!!! The stories are short so you do not feel burdened to try to understand everything, but to my delight I could understand almost everything... and the translation in English helps to correct or to let you know you actually understood.All in all I really liked it!!!So, thank you!!!

As a beginner, starting the intermediate level of learning, this book is excellent. I have worked my way through the first few chapters and by reading out loud, my pronunciation as well as recognition of words has improved! I like feeling that I could actually communicate better because of the way this book is set up. I am so pleased to have this book as another learning aid for the Korean language.

I really like that the book provides a translation of the dialogue in both Korean and English so you can really decipher and get into the nitty gritty of the conversational text. The conversations are also very practical, which is great. Fantastic resource!

Over the years i have tried well over a dozen different books, videos, apps, and online services to learn Korean.This one is maybe not ideal for the absolute beginner, but VERY well designed for someone who is no longer a complete newbie (count me in..)The various lessons are concrete and situational and also give some sense of the Korean social "ethos". This adds interest and sustains motivation.I gave it five stars, even though is lacks audio to go along with the text. It is my understanding that this is in the works, and will be offered as a download at a later date.

This is the second book I've gotten from Lingo Mastery, and they prove once more that they are committed to providing high quality learning resources for Korean leaners.This book filled with real life conversations that help you grasp how Korean is naturally used in everyday conversations. Each chapter is neatly structured, with different language levels and translations for guidance. Overall, it's a great book to practice your reading and comprehension skills. I look forward to whatever they release next! :)

This book has very useful conversations in both Korean and English. They are simple everyday conversations that anyone might say .The only thing that would make this book perfect would be audio of each Korean chapter included.

I would class myself as upper beginner level in Korean reading skill and for me this book is good practice. The grammar forms used are not too complicated and the conversations are nice and short for dipping into when I have a few minutes spare and there are lots of them. Most are between a page and a page and a half long and each is followed by the English translation. While the grammar forms are not too difficult there are still some challenges for me and there is a good amount of vocabulary that I can learn for everyday conversational use.

This book was unhelpful. It does not say anywhere how to pronounce these phrases.

This book is perfect for someone who knows a bit of Korean already and wishes to practice vocabulary as well as reading skills. I have definitely found it useful and will continue to use in the future :) Great work guys! Thank you!
