Decided to buy the new budget Google Nest based on customer reviews and so far is exceeding expectations - interface is simple to use and the product is really good! Would be great if Google adds more features in the near future. Really recommended!

Only one fan speed
Careful, it says 'smart', but you can't even change the fan speed. It's not precised on this product, it's unacceptable.

Beware of installation company. Product is fine but not compatible with all UAE A/C specs
Bought it with Amazon installation service. New Era Maintenance came and inspect and confirmed it is not a direct plug and play. Had to buy an adaptor from them that cost AED 1000 each. 5 hours into installtion, they discouvered outside unit has DC inverter not AC. anyway, it was a failed attempt and had to return it. Edit: after 10 days. New Era Maintainace hasn't refunded and doesn't reply.
