Formic works but watch the temperature
Formic Pro works but there are caveats for its use. It does provide a good mite knockdown, and they are easy to use. But temperature can be an issue for beekeepers in SoCal when our weather heats up. We are limited to winter and spring and very early summer. I have had queen issues. Several times I've had queen supercedure after use, losing purchased queens (ouch). But as it's a natural product I'll continue to use it.

Worked well - low level of mites afterwards
I use this as a summer treatment, to alternate with oxalic acid (using only 1 treatment tend to build varroa mites that are resistant to that treatment over time. Alternative helps this). Any way, easy to use. When I did the oxalic acid treament in the fall afterwards I was surprised by the very low level of mites. Seems to work good. Watch out, this is hard on eggs and larvae, it says it can kill a bunch short them, so do not use on a hive that is trying to raise a new queen.

Not sure how to grade so far
Did the 2 strip method for both my hives. Two strips placed as directed on top of bottom deep frames. I noticed a good bit of dead bees on landing board the next morning for one hive. Being a first year beekeeper I thought I killed my colony so opened it up to look at (later learned that it can kill alot of the older/stressed bees). By opening this hive for 30 seconds I lost a lot of those initial vapors so probably affected the efficacy of the treatment. The treatment dropped my mite load from ~5% pre treatment to 2.6% post treatment. Wishing I hadn’t opened the hive - would likely have dropped it further. In my other hive I noticed the treatment caused my queen to stop laying for 2-3 weeks (either that or nurse bees cannabolized eggs?). Guess I might of got lucky the bees didn’t kill the queen. Didn’t do a post treatment wash for that colony (their pretreatment was a little less than 3%). Didn’t lose either queen. Bought a ten pack treatment in October ‘25 and it expires March 2027. This coming year I’ll probably do one strip at a time. Hard for me to give a true score for this.

Works. Follow directions
My husband applied one strip to each hive this past fall. We were worried of overdoing it and killing the bees like other reviews. We live in Michigan. A couple days ago he went and checked on them. They are still alive. It's December

Turns mites into worm food and only kills a few bees if done properly
Please take your honey supers off when doing this. Don't give people honey that has this chemical in it; that is just a terrible idea. I treated a few hives and removed the spent strips about a week later. The bees run for the hills when you place this on top of the brood frames, this is definitely their kryptonite. Some bees will inevitably be culled by this treatment and the undertaker bees will toss them asunder with extreme prejudice. Once the torment has ended, remove and discard the strips, bid ado to the mites and pour out a little malt liquor for dead bee homies. Re-introduce honey supers and get back to business.

Works great !!!
This stuff is easy to use and works great! Do not touch it or dispose of it in properly. I recommend putting the used ones in a plastic bag and tie it shut and put it in a plastic trash bag. Smells bad so store in a can till trash day. Highly recommend this as it really works well !!
