How do I fast forward a recording ?

Please follows the steps to set the fast forward and rewind: 1. connect the black cable and plug in the earphone to the device. 2. turn on the recorder and press and hold the "+" button of the black cable quickly until the play states. 3. Long press the "+"button to fast forward, long press the "-"button to rewind. pay attention: for this function, you need to set it up each time. The voice volume is not adjustable for this status.

Did it really catch fire??will i need internet to just record?? If i switch it on before they leave the house will it keep recording for over 12- 14 h
