Everybody has feelings & emotions.Let’s pick colors for your feelings & emotions.Yellow = happyBlue = sadGreen = calmPurple = prideBlack = fearWhat other colors did you find.I do not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing free books from publishers & authors. Therefore, I am under no obligation to write a positive review, only an honest one.An awesome book cover, great hand-drawn colored pictures, charming illustrations & proper font & writing style. A very professionally written children’s (preschool/elementary age) feelings/emotions storybook. It was quite easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters, settings, etc. to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s educational presentation (feelings/emotions), movie, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini-TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is an extremely easy rating of 5 stars.Thank you for the free author; April Tale Books; FreeBooksy; Amazon Digital Services LLC.; bookTony Parsons MSW (Washburn)

‘There’s a rainbow of feelings…which did you feel today’
Author Agnes Green is the Founder of April Tale Books and writes children’s stories. Her publications to date total twelve – THE POTTY STORY, THE PAJAMA ZOO PARADE, 10 DINOSAURS PARTY TIME, SILLY FLUFFY BARKING JUMPING WET-NOSED DOG BOOK, TODAY I AM A MONSTER, TUCKED IN THE BARN, OPPOSITES, THE PERFECT PARTY POTTY ZOO, ELLIE THE ELEPHANT, MY SISTER IS A MONSTER, BEARST FRIENDS FOREVER, and now COLOR ME HAPPY COLOR ME SAD. In this new book the illustrations are by Natalia Vetrova. The interplay with colors and emotions is present as the story opens: ‘Color me Happy, Color me Sad, Color me Peaceful, Color me Mad. Yellow or Orange, Green Pink or Blue, my feelings have colors…Do yours have them too?’ Each emotion is assigned a color – Happy, Sadness, Calm, Pride, Fear, Anger, Excitement, Quiet, and Love – with tender little comments about each choice. Both fun to discover the connections as well as learning names of emotions, this is a very fine little book for kids – and the adult readers!Another very special book from Agnes Green! Very cute. Learn colors, learn feelings
Great book for little ones to understand that it's ok to feel different feelings. Giving each feeling a designated color and example, I think can help them understand their emotion a bit better and maybe learn to deal with it better as well.

Black Is Fear?
I am a preschool teacher who wants to affirm my students of color. I am disappointed that black is fear in this book. I found other colors stereotyped (blue is sad, yellow is happy). I did like gray is quiet, although quiet isn’t really a feeling. I am not going to use this book in my lessons.

Calming
Very simple but thoughtful maybe good to start discussing when kids are older. I've really enjoyed reading this. The colors and illustration are pretty to look at.

You forgot the emotion tired
My son is 5 years old and he asked why there was no color for the feeling of being tired. He still feels this book is a 5 but he also feels the feeling tired should be added.
