Great for my recycling of food waste

Even if you aren't composting, these bags are a great way to keep kitchen leftover trash fresher than being just dumped into the bin. Well made too.

I would like the bags better if they were self-tie.

I bought these for my mother in law for her organic recycling efforts. Fits a 1 gallon pail perfectly,Previously she was using a coffee can or other plastic container with no liner which needed to be cleanedevery time she emptied it.

The Ayote compostable trash bag is a 1.2 gallon size bag and is 18 micron in thickness, more on the thin size. My garbage is usually on the heavy side and thus far it withstand the weight, no breakage. It's a perfect size for my use on the kitchen counter. One small box has 75 bags, cost 9 cents a bag. These bags are so fragile that they tear up when I just try to open them. I have only used a few and will have to throw the others away because it is too late to return for refund & why bother to give them to others who can't use them.

These bags fit my countertop composter perfectly . They are a good value and unlike other brands I’ve tried they do not begin to decompose before I am ready to take them out. That said, I prepare a lot of vegetables , so they are taken out almost every day or so. I find having a composter on my counter keeps my larger garbage area from ever smelling because no produce is in there and it’s emptied frequently because it’s smaller. This is an excellent product for this purpose and the best I’ve tried. Fast shipping and no breakage , unlike others.
