Incredible Mouse! 100% worth money
I’ve had this mouse for years. I use it everyday, all day. Feels great, almost velvety smooth. Fits my hand perfect, all day, the guard rest is perfect, you can change what each button does, adjust your aim speed quick, since it’s right in your reach, and you change the weights out to preference. I’d buy again any day

Be warned - NOT RGB AS ADVERTISED. No Software. Can only use two side buttons at a time. Otherwise Good.
This mouse was purchased for my wife's new RGB setup. I thought I had a steal on my hands. The new 50 million click omron switches plus RGB lighting and a legit 3310 sensor all for 25 bucks? Sign me up, that's a great value! I'll take that over a Sensei 310 any day!Well...not so fast. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Upon hooking it up to the wife's laptop Christmas morning I started looking for the driver software online. There isn't any. Finding the mouse on the MSI website was a pain, it's not even listed in their mouse lineup page.(https://us.msi.com/Gaming-gear/#?category=Mouse)I read the manual. DPI switching takes place on the mouse by pressing and holding the rearmost thumb button on both sides and holding for 5 seconds. This method is also how you change the color breathing between off, fast breathing and slow breathing. And, as it turns out, there is no RGB, only red illumination on the logo. Minus 1 star for false advertising MSI!Also, because there is no software, there is no macro capability for this mouse. But wait, it gets worse. There is a handy-dandy switch on the bottom of the mouse with three detents labeled "L", "R" and one with a padlock icon. These are advertised to lock the left thumb buttons for use by a left hander, lock the right side thumb buttons for use by right-hander or lock both sets of thumb buttons for office use. I have a couple issues here. First, the main issue is that you cannot use more than two thumb buttons - you can't use all 4 side buttons on the mouse at once! Even if you could the buttons on the far side are too small, too stiff and have too much travel to be very practical in-game. Locking out ALL the side buttons makes no sense. The thumb buttons would not get in the way during office use. The padlock setting should be an "all buttons available" mode instead of none. There might be technical considerations here given there is no software, but it still seems like a poor design decision. Minus 1 star for decreased functionality and design. The second, smaller issue is that L actually locks out right side thumb buttons and vice-versa, opposite as described in the manual, but that's a minor gripe. So, given the lack of software, macros, RGB and full thumb button utility, what is good about the mouse? Well, it's actually pretty good if you're looking for a basic 6 button mouse with good tracking and an ambidextrous shape. Ergonomics are solid for palm and fingertip but not ideal for claw. The side grips are not rubber, in fact everything is textured plastic on the mouse. It feels nice, but the feel is not as premium as the my wife's previous mouse, the DS100, which not only had a soft touch rubber coating but software support and multiple color options. I'm not bitter...honest.I'd say that mouse weight is around 95 grams without the flexible braided cable. Tracking is superb as you'd expect with a 3310 and all button clicks are nice and crisp. The primary L/R clicks are awesome, up there with the Logitech G403. Biggest gripe regarding buttons are the thumb buttons. They have significant travel but not too bad but don't stick out very far from the mouse, making unintentional presses hard, but making intentional ones slightly awkward as well - minor gripe. There are 3 large mousefeet which have excellent glide, no issues there. The scroll wheel middle click requires significantly more force than the others, but that's typical. There is a nice rubber coating on the scroll and the wheel has moderate resistance with distinct notches, good for gaming, fine for browsing. In terms of overall build quality, this mouse is very solid and does not have any kind of rattle or creak when shaken/squeezed. I'd expect this mouse to last a long time. Of course, this review is being written less than a week after purchase. I would have said the same about the last MSI mouse (DS100) which developed a LMB double click issue after less than 1 million clicks and 2 years of light use. (I use Mousotron on all my computers to track such things) The DS100 was rated for 5 million clicks, so it developed issues less than 20% of the way into its advertised lifespan. The wife loved the DS100 and wanted another MSI so the OCD could be satisfied - you simply must have the mouse brand match the laptop brand after all.She is happier with the mouse than me at this point, which is something of a relief, she is not nearly the mouse officianado that I am, and red (the only lighting color available) does happen to be her favorite color. In summary, there are aspects of this buying experience that are definitely not cool but we're keeping this rodent and hoping it grows on us:)

Decent Value for the Price
Purchased this mouse to go with MSI laptop. Already have a G400s (which is awesome) that goes with a desktop. I have to say the DS100 is not too shabby in comparison, definitely in line with where it should be for 60% of the price. I have to say that one of the primary reasons I gave this mouse a look was because of the attention to detail that apparently went into my MSI GP60 laptop. Everything on the laptop works very well and is very cost effective. In particular I liked the SteelSeries tactile feedback keyboard on it. If MSI built a mouse that had the same practical/sporty feel, I knew I'd be sold, and so I was. My initial impression was that it was a rather cheap mouse, and I didn't get much of a deal, but that eventually changed with use.Pros:-Textured coating on the top surfaces of mouse have a nice feel.-Pleasant color options (Red/Green/Yellow/Blue/Teal/Purple) all look good.-Good tracking with none of the lag issues some other users have run into.-Good software (had a slight hiccup on install, showed "program not responding" but installed correctly after a couple minutes)-Looks nice next to an MSI laptop :) A touch of sexy without crossing the line into embarrassing gamey gaudiness.-Braided cord is a good length and stays out of the way better than the standard rubber cord on the G400s.-Lift off distance (how far you have to pick the mouse up before it stops tracking) is excellent. I'd say it is somewhere in the range of 1.5 CD widths, roughly half of the G400s.-The mouse wheel is grooved with a rubber coating and there is a very subtle click with each notch as you scroll. This is the attention to the little things I was hoping for.On the Fence:-The low profile of the mouse feels sporty but I find the bottom of my thumb just grazing the mousepad because there simply isn't much room below the thumb buttons.-Ergonomics. Both buttons are slightly grooved instead of flat. I think I'd actually prefer slightly convex to concave, but it's fine. No crampy issues or anything like that, but the mouse doesn't scream "comfort" so much as "sporty" and I think it favors palm grippers over fingertip grippers like myself.-There is minimal texture on the sides of the mouse. No issues gripping/picking up mouse, but some will want more.Cons:-It is a laser mouse which means there is supposedly a little more interpolation/inaccuracy relative to a good optical mouse. Having used the G400s, I can say that internet connection and fatigue are far larger factors. I haven't noticed much if any difference.-If you leave the LED on, the mouse surface heats up slightly, causing sweaty palms. Leaving the LED off fixes issue.-The mouse is surprisingly heavy for such average-sized mouse and quite tail-heavy. When I purchased I was hoping the 130+gram weight included the cord...not so. If this mouse were about 80g (like a G100s) and kept all its features, I would probably rate it over the G400s. As it is it is this is still a very minor gripe. In Summary:I don't foresee having any issues with this mouse after a few weeks of heavy use. While there is a TON of competition at the $25-30 range, I have no regrets with this purchase.

Ergonomically great for left handed user
Excellent well built & ergonomic .... the user is left handed which is surprisingly hard to get at a sensible price for a good quality mouse ... this ticked all the boxes & is reactive ... he uses it on his MSI gaming laptop & he his very happy doing so .... comfy, lightweight, quick
