Q: Is the white shirt see through??

Hi Julian. I have the "Smoke Green," not the white. I know this is not a great answer, but the Smoke Green is "slightly" transparent. I would guess the white is as well. If you were to wear something dark colored underneath it would probably show thorough a bit. Since it's linen, it is designed for hot, humid climates. So I wear it without anything underneath and it's fine. A great shirt! Mike

Q: I'm between a size large and medium, what should I go for if i want some room in the sleeves?

I would go for the large but, be pre-warned. The sleeves fit very tight under the armpits regardless of the size. It wasn't uncomfortable, just different. I still like the shirt though.
