Good Product
Bought a new truck that had a 2 &1/2 hitch compared to my old truck which had a 2 inch. Pulling a 6000lb travel trailer with an expensive anti sway bar. This unit was heavy duty an excellent value, fit perfectly and easy to install. I did add a hitch plate to prevent any hitch rattle.

Simple insertion.
Used to customize my hitch and remove slack. The lip at the end was key, fixed my problem. Simple, straight forward, worth the money.

not for hitch receptacles with collar
Top quality insert. Unfortunately, my 2500 HD Chev had a collar on hitch receptacle making this insert useless, as holes would not line up. Got full refund, but beware.

Needs a little bit of work to fit perfect, Ford F350
Like many other reviews, the pin location doesn't fit quite right for newer Ford F250/F350 hitches. I rotated the insert 90° and re-drilled the holes to match my hitch. Out of the box, only one of my hitches fit but now they all fit like they should.
