I loved the look of these online, but in person they are basically just kitchen string. I thought they would be much hardier and a stronger - more like a cord or small rope. They do not sit well on the napkin and look kind of cheap. The concept is great, but I wish they would have made them out of better material.

These are very cute. I would have given it 5 stars, but they started unraveling as soon as I adjusted the loop to put it around a napkin (see photo for comparison). Maybe some fabric starch would help with that. But they are unique & I am using them just for staging a home, so they will suit that purpose. Not sure about everyday (or even occasional use though). Definitely would be impossible to clean if they become stained.

These come undone when you attempt to put them on a napkin. Unraveled as I tried to loosen it to fit around the napkin, could not figure out how to fix it. Also they are smaller than pictured.

These holders started to fall apart even before I placed the napkin through. Not enough hot glue to hold the ropes together. I had to reglue each one.
