Real Deal - OEM - be careful which seller you purchase from - 1999 V-10 F-250
I have a pretty high degree of confidence that these are the real deal - Ford OEM. However, be careful who you order from. Just because they are listed on Amazon does not mean Amazon has any control on what a seller is actually selling you. I would urge you to either purchase directly from Amazon (Amazon.com listed as seller) or a seller that lists "fulfilled by Amazon". That helps to insure you will get OEM. I went with a "fulfilled by Amazon" seller, Auto Parts Wholesale, to save the sales tax that Amazon has to charge me.I ordered and installed 10 for a 1999 Ford F-250. Each one was individually packaged in an official Ford OEM bag. Each coil had a small amount of dielectric grease already on the tip. Each coil looked OEM with markings. (I did put a small additional amount of dielectric grease on tip.I have had my 1999 20 year old truck for 15 years. I have no idea if the original owner ever changed out coils or not. But, about 10 years ago I had a miss, figured it was a coil, and took it to Ford dealer who diagnosed which coil was bad. I think the coil was close to $75 and labor were $100+. That was 10 years ago before Amazon and others started selling these coils. When my truck recently started having a miss, just occasional but there, sometimes when idiling, sometimes when accelerating, I figured coil again. But, I priced Ford OEM coils all over the place, and Amazon had the best price, even better than the on line retailer with rock in their name. I figured I would go ahead and replace all 10, for just a little more than what Ford dealer would probably now charge me just to replace one bad one.I also replaced spark plugs at same time - auto lite double platinums at good price and rebates from advan auto. My truck is a V-10, and getting to the back plugs and coils is a challenge, especially on the passenger side. But, by removing some parts that were in the way, and using a variety of extensions, I did it without anything going wrong.Suggest you use the magnetic spark plug socket if you are changing plugs - works much better than the rubber one.My truck now runs great - no more missing.

Genuine product
Had a misfire in my 2004 Mustang 4.6L GT. I could not find genuine Motorcraft coils for my car in New Zealand so ordered these. Arrived on time and were exactly what I needed, solved my misfire.

So far so good! Working awesome!
So far these work amazing. I installed these in my 2002 Ford F250 SD V10. I recently had a coil go out. I took it to a shop to have it fixed and paid I think $90 for the coil plus quite a bit for installation. A few days went by and started having other coils acting up so I decided to purchase the other nine and install them myself. I was quoted over $1000 to have 9 more coils installed at the shop. These are a super deal and appear to be Motorcraft coils. I paid $355 and spent 40 minutes of my time swapping them out. I would love to know what the book hours is on swapping the coils. I doubt it shows less than one hour (which is all it takes even for a novice). My truck has 235k miles on it. After I installed the coils the truck runs so much better. It has so much more power (it seems) and it is so much smoother. The jury is still out on the longevity of these coils. Time will tell. I will update if anything changes.

Woke an old Truck Up
This is a task on an old V10, ended up taking it in, but these worked great. Old engine I'd feeling great. Was worried about knock offs considering the steep discount but these seemed genuine, shop said they were good and they went right into my Excursion no problem. At 80k or more for a new truck, glad to find products that keep the old truck on the road.

This is an OEM product for 50% less than the ...
This is an OEM product for 50% less than the dealership. Ford wanted over $600.00 for 8! Well worth the purchase. Came in 8 single bags. They are not knockoffs. Even though there is no Motorcraft logo on the actual 508 part (Just on the bag), it is real. I even took them to the dealership parts counter and confirmed it. Right part for my 05 F-150 4.6. NOTE: These do not come 8 to a bag as I have seen here. This was also confirmed by the OEM parts dealer rep. Got to my my home much faster than the projected date by Lazer shipping.
