The story of Justin Boots began in 1879, when H.J. Justin moved to Spanish Fort, Texas to become a boot repairman. He was a quick study, with an eye and talent for boot making. H.J. soon began his own boot company, Justin Boots, which he operated out of his home to serve cowboys passing though town. H.J. saw the potential for his business, so when a railroad was built ten years later in Nocona, Texas, he moved his family there to capitalize on a bigger market. In 1908, Justin Boots became a true family company when his sons, Earl and Avis, came to work for their father. Their combined efforts pushed the company forward, and just two years later, Justin Boots had doubled its production and was being sold in 26 states as well as Mexico, Canada, and Cuba. Seven years after their fathers death in 1918, his sons moved the company headquarters to Fort Worth where it still operates today.

Fantastic boots!
These boots are great! For those reviewing these as too narrow they must have ogar feet. These boots fit as expected. I wear a 10.5 in normal boots but with pull on I find a 10 fits perfect. The quality is top notch. The only visual defect I found was a missed stitch, or rather the leather was a little longer on the left side, but it was a minor flaw. The leather is top quality and these boots are constructed well. The lip around the boot is wider then other boots such as ariat, which for me took a little getting use to.Now for the fit: When I first got these boots they had allot of slippage. This is to be expected with any boot, but working through the day it was too much for my feet. I have average feet, not narrow but not wide. So I figured until they tighten up and conform to my feet they would be hell working in. So I decided to put some Ariat insoles in them. And this made ALL the difference. It tightened up that looseness, and created an absolute perfect fit! And the boots are forming to my feet amazingly. My heel clicks down every time I put them on, and these are the most comfortable boots I own. And I know they will only get better with age and wear. If you are looking for a good reliable quality boot, I highly suggest these!

Love the boots. Not the redish color you see on Amazon.
As far as the product itself its great. I've bought the same size of Justin boots before and the size was consistent. The one thing I would want to warn everyone out there that's considering these boots, the Amazon picture is not an accurate picture of the color. Other websites have a more accurate picture of the boots. I believe I looked at Boot Barn and saw the actual color. These boots are not the redish color that this picture shows. They are more of a sand color. For me I had looked at these other sites and knew what I was expecting but for those of you loving the picture on Amazon this is not what your getting.

Super comfortable after being broken in
So I've had these boots a little over a year now and I love them. They are really comfortable and after wearing them most of the year it's just about time to get the heals redone. I have had to polish/oil them up from time to time but that's to be expected from daily ish worn boots. I got the ones with the rubber souls and they have decent grip to them in all matter of conditions. Definitely will be getting another pair if and when I wear these out completely

Peach Color
They are lighter and more of a peach color than what the pictures show. Quality is fine and they are comfortable, they just have an off look to them. I've put some conditioner on the which darkened them a little but still a less desirable look than what I wanted.

Do not last. Highly disappointing.
Having been an Ariat wearer for many years, I was highly annoyed when I discovered all their boots I was able to find anymore are made in China. I looked high and low for an American made boot that wasn't in the thousands of dollars range, seeing as the economy completely sucks, and like so many other American's I struggle to do more than live paycheck to paycheck these days. Found this model by Justin's that is "Made in USA". Very excited, I ordered the boots at $240 a mere 6 months ago. Today, I write this review, having completely worn through the front of the boot where the ball of your foot sits, with the seams on the side of the boots having torn apart, leaving gaping holes in the side of the arch, and having the heel completely worn through leaving the (rather poor) stitching digging into the side of my heel.Despite them being made in China, I've never had an Ariat boot wear out in less than a couple years, and for less money. I thought I'd be paying a premium for a superior, made in USA product. Instead, I got an inferior product that has completely worn out in 6 months. I am highly dissatisfied. Oh, and now you'll pay $260 for these rather inferior boots. All in all, they're less comfortable, less durable, and more expensive than the Ariat's I used to wear. If only they weren't made in China.

Very comfy and USA made
Awesome boots! Very comfortable and stylish. I will be using these for town and the farm. In the box you will get a special thank you note from the person who had a hand in making them. Really a cool idea by Justin. I've never liked purchasing China made cowboy boots... With Justin you don't have to!

Highly recommend!
Very nice boots! The soles are rubber and comfortable. I wear a size 10.5 but I got a 10 and they fit nicely.

Love the pull tabs
These boots are top quality, fit exactly as expected. Love the pull tabs. Very nice shaft design. A bit more teal than we expected but still very nice.
