It is also gluten free, which I needed. The bottle is not difficult to get into, as it has a normal screw on top which does not require a lot of hand strength to open. It is not so easy, though, that the top comes off on its own. It is secure, even when traveling. Be warned — it will typically change the color of your urine, and makes it brighter. It does not cause the bowl to stain, though. Simply be aware that your urine may change colors when using it. I take the amount daily prescribed by my doctor. If in doubt, definitely talk with your doctor about using it and also about the dosage for you. Personally, it has been a great supplement to assist with migraine prevention.
