Switch is convenient and some of these strip lights have no switch. Draws .50 AMP @ 14VDC I'm using this as both a shop light and a load to pull down battery with a full 14.6V maintenance charge on it. Looks like there is regulation circuitry. Wires are thin but adequate for the low draw.

I bought these for some interior lighting on my boat. Way bright! If I did have one critique, I wish they had included a translucent cover. The power switch is also in an odd spot, but otherwise a spot on product.

Update after about 1.5 years: These have been uses very lightly and two of the switches no longer work. They don't pop back out to let you activate or deactivate the lights. So while the light output is just enough...just right, it kinda sucks that they have already failed after maybe 50 or less on/off cycles. Knocking off two stars from my original 4-star review. Original review: I wanted some lights for my utility/camper shell. I wanted them to be yellow-ish...not completely white. And I didn't want them too bright. These fit the bill just right. I mounted one on each of the windoors and the rear hatch door. I bought 2 pair, so I have one more that I need to figure out where to put. I used the double-sided tape. but it came with some metal clips that you could screw in. Wiring up was pretty easy and since they have their switches built in to the housing, I didn't have to wire those up. They aren't flat, though. They do hang down/stick out quite a bit. But I mounted it to the inside of the aluminum skin of the camper shell. So it doesn't stick out that much.

Showed up on time. Easy to install. Priced well. Used to upgrade fluorescent tube lights on my boat. Amazing the difference they made. White light with ability to dim. Would buy again no problem

Fit where required, very easy to wire and are very bright. They are a lot better than the floresant light that were there.

These lights are very nice for lighting up dark spaces anywhere you have 12 volt DC power. Used them to light up the cuboards in my RV. Hooked them up on a micro switch so they only come on when the doors are opened. Easy to install and super light weight. The warm white color is perfect on the eyes at night. Purchased 6 of them. The switch on the end of the light is kinda flimsy but I'm not using it for on and off so no worries there. I did notice the light does warm up on the end where the wire is, if left on for a long time.
