Williams M-106A 1/4 Drive Spinner Handle

I’m an aircraft technician as well as a tool nerd, so I’m fairly picky with tools. I’m not a truck tool snob, but if they have the best tool for the job, then that’s what I buy.This is about a third of the price of its truck tool cousin, but it’s doing the job nicely. Easy to grip and turn when ratcheting fasteners, and looks great in my tool box. Male end engages securely, and ratchets fit nicely in the female end. It has a gloss texture, which may not work for some grease monkeys, but it hasn’t been a problem in my work thus far. I’m curious as to how it would react with hydraulic fluid and will update my review if I encounter any issues.For the USA die-hards, this is a “made in Taiwan” product. The part number styling is similar to all of the Williams USA made tools, but it’s clearly imported. It even says “TAIWAN” on it in a rather obnoxious fashion, but a little M.E.K. took care of it and now all it shows is the part number and Williams logo. Personally, I’ve had great experiences with tools from Taiwan, so it doesn’t bother me a bit.Overall, I find this a great tool for under $15 and will probably buy another for home use.

I made a portable tool kit for my motorcycle. Heaven forbid I get into the amount of trouble to where I'd need to use it, but it's there all the same. This tool is the heart of it.The accessories are easy to come by to make it a universal tool. But, the very most important part is that it's a 1/4" ratchet extender. That's VERY hard to find at this price. I took a chance on this and it paid off. (I should have looked more closely at previous reviews and their pictures. They show why it's stellar tool.)I look forward to putting it to use.

Doubles as a nut driver and as a ratchet extension. Plastic handle molded around a single stud that runs through the tool. Heavy for a nut driver. Made in Taiwan.I've had one of these for more than 40 years. Extremely useful and durable. New version is built to last a lifetime. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.If I had a complaint it would be that the handle diameter is a bit small for an adult. My old one is larger diameter and I can get a better grip. Also a bit heavier than the old one.You will hand this tool down to your grandson someday!

Good tool. I was expecting a tool to be made in USA.The spinner handle was made in Taiwan...better than China.Is well made good ergonomics & smooth casting (not sharp plastic casting edges to irritate your hand).I like the 1/2" square drive in the handle end so I can put ratchet in handle if needed.

Well made, but wish it were made in the USA. Says made in Taiwan ... but that came right off with a drop of acetone. Quality is high, sad to say I bought it to replace my made in USA one from another manufacturer that failed (handle had spun).

Often, 1/4 drives are junky. The price isn't the cheapest at all, but it the third one I bought. It also has a square 1/4 inch hole on the top so you can get that extra leverage.

This tool is awesome! I was looking for a few years to buy a replacement 1/4" extension with handle after the plastic handle broke on my old one.I had a hard time finding a replacement until I went on Amazon. Exactly what I was looking for, at a good price and fast shipping.

I have not had it long so cannot say about the durability but it seems good and can be used as an extension to a socket driver as the shaft goes all the way through.

I've been using this tool for over a year now and it has been a great addition to my tool box. It would be nice if the handle was a little bigger and gripier so you could get a bit more torque on it by hand, but once you attach a socket wrench to it, it takes things to a whole new level.If you have an application for this, IMO just get it. The price is good and it gets the job done :)
