(between the wheel and the folding base)** A: Fourteen inches. Hope this helps. **Q: Sounds great if you're really tall, what if you're 5 feet nothing?** A: It’s height adjustable. **Q: the piece on the handle bar became loose and it came off unbeknownst to my 17yr old who was riding it everyday, can this piece be bought separately?cx** A: I would try Googling the part or I would contact the company directly. **Q: quick release trigger was lost while riding and now I was hoping to replace this part if possible (the trigger and the 2 bolts that hold it on)** A: I don’t know about your specific failure but I am familiar with the mechanism. You could remove the locking spring and pin at the fulcrum/hinge where it folds and insert a nut and long bolt. That would permanently lock it open but it would work. Be careful to closely inspect the spring loaded pins holding the handles in place. One of them broke causing the handle to fall out and my son took a bad spill. I removed them and installed a threaded bolt all the way thru for stability.
