Fruit of the Loom womens Micro Waffle Premium Thermal Set

This thermal set fits true-to-size. The material is thin, but warm and very confortable. I love the merlot heather color. I also bought the animal print in the same order, SAME SIZE. However, the animal print fit MUCH more snuggly than the merlot and the length of the pants is SHORTER. I cannot return them, because I always wash new clothing before wearing them.Have no idea why there would be such a difference, but there definitely is. SIZE VARIATION within the SAME company drives me crazy and is unacceptable. They must do better with quality control.

These long johns are so super soft ok. Plus they don't irritate my skin and trust me y'all almost everything irritates my skin, that only thing I would like to change about them are the size of the shirt it was a little bit snug on me but overall I love them plus they kept me nice and warm..

I love thermals in the fall and winter, ill typically wear them to bed, around the house or under my clothes on very chilly days. These thermals are pretty nice, they are lightweight but they dont lack warthm by any means. The polyester fibers keep you warm by trapping heat in. The stitching is pretty good on these, i dont forsee any issues with them wearing in super poorly. I like everything about them, except the fit is somewhat awkward on me. I wasnt sure wether to order the large or the xl because i normally size up in tops and like my bottoms fitted but decided to order the xl. As far as the top goes, it seems to be the correct size for me but id prefer a little more length in the sleeves as well as the body of the shirt, but the width is perfect. I am 5'8" though so i tend to have problems with the lengths of my clothes from time to time anyways. My weight fluctuates but i am around 215# right now. Others said the sleeves or the shirt was way too tight but i didnt find that to be the case, just prefer more length and usually sizing up doesnt even solve that problem, but i often buy mens shirts for more length so may do that for my next couple pairs. The bottoms though, is where i am somewhat lost on what size to order. When i first tried on the xl bottoms they fit comfortable, but after wearing for a few hours i noticed the rise in the back was very short and they also loosened up throughout(as well as the top loosening). The bottoms actually became so loose that i thought if i reorder i may need to size down as they were almost falling off, however im afraid the rear rise will be too short in the large. I dont have a massive butt or anything, i mean i am a size 12/14 and usually have no issues with pants in a large or xl covering my butt but these were just incredibly short on my backside. I will say they stretched after wearing to bed a couple days in a row but id still prefer the rise come up higher in the back. I havent washed these yet but based off similar purchases i imagine they will stay pretty close to their size out of the package when they do get washed(shrink back down when washed, stretch with wear again, shrink back down, stretch when worn, etc). Overall they are a decent pair of johns but they dont fit my body correctly. Id possibly reorder a different color just to see if the rise changes but if i wanted black again id probably buy a mens top in a different brand for length and a womens bottom separately also in a different brand for the back rise. If you have a super short back rise they might work for you but if you have even an average butt for your size and especially a plump booty i imagine these will be too short in the back for you. Im not going to return as i dont care if my butt shows at home or under my clothes but wouldnt buy the exact pair again.

I don't like basing my purchase size 100% on relative size from other reviews. Thus, I went directly to the website for their Thermals Size Guide (see photos). I went with a Small to avoid material bunching when I wear these under other clothes, but I could have fit the Medium measurements as well so took a bit of a risk.2 Days Later/Day of Delivery:Thermals came in and I've now tried them on. They're comfortably warm (not too warm, not cold) just on their own. Not see through, so if I slept in them I'd be comfortable walking around after waking up. It's all great thus far. Two things I'm looking to keep track of when I test them out camping: 1) how it feels where the top and the bottom overlap, 2) whether the pants shift down from my wait to my hip when moving/under clothes. Both are the results of just personal preference in how clothes fit.If the former is problematic, I might consider altering the top to end at my waist/just above the pants if i don't like the feel of the top and bottom overlapping when wearing clothes on top of the thermals.If the latter is problematic, I might consider adding a button/loop to the waist to tighten and make sure the bottoms stay sat where I want them. Having regularly worn stretchy leggings, but not ever having thermals before, I prefer when the bottoms sit at my hips and stay in place as a result of their stretch.Will update again when I've taken them camping.

Purchased a 3XL because I wanted them a lil loose. The shirt fit me tight and the pants were a lil big in the waist but the shirt was so tight I worried that washing it and if it shrunk.I repurchased a 4XL and have it in the pics attached. The pink shirt is a women’s XL I have. The jeans on the pants are a lan Bryant size 14.That aside, I love the way they feel. They are super lightweight yet warming. Not scratchy fabric really nice and soft. Seem to be well constructed. I personally like the fit of the pants even thou they are not tight, the shirt is a lil shorter in the sleeves then I had hoped.Color is great

I'm extremely happy with these. They are really soft and warm.I got the Smoke Heather in LARGE. Really nice grey color. Although I'm only 5'7" and 128 lbs, I purchased the large because I don't like tight clothing. The pants fit perfectly & the top is only slightly loose. But I wore under my clothes outside tonight and they fit well as a base layer. I'd probably buy again as pajamas because they are so comfy. And what a great price when I see how much base layers are in the stores.

These are warm enough but the sizing is all wrong so go up a size if in doubt.
