STM Dux, rugged case for Apple iPad Air 2 - Blue (stm-222-104J-25)

I've owned the same case for my iPad Mini with Retina screen and right when I purchased my iPad Air 2, I immediately looked for this case and have no regrets!This case is slim, durable, rugged, and has so many other features that can't be found when looking at other cases. The clear back is great for customizing your iPad, the slim design means that you can easily put it in your backpack or any other bag just fine, the rugged exterior fully protects your iPad in the case of accidental drops from high places, the magnetic strip on the front cover locks and unlocks your iPad to save battery life, and the large opening for the charging port means that you can use any sized lightning cables to charge your device without worrying to take off the case. Wow, just wow.In my past experience, I dropped my iPad mini by accident many times and thanks for this case, the screen and other functions of my iPad mini were protected and left fully functional. I expect nothing less of this case while it's attached to my iPad Air 2.I highly recommend getting this case for yourself or as a present to anyone that has an iPad Air 2!

This is the second time we bought this only because it fits perfectly with the iPad air version two. It’s heavy it’s well-made durable and protects the iPad. We looked at other ones that didn’t quite meet the expectation of saving my iPad and we sent those back. The only problem with this product is that the binder edge after a couple years starts peeling off and then There are little rubber pieces all over the house. I guess that means that the iPad is well used which it is all the time in our house. Very good product for the money to protect her iPad.

Onto my Third STM cover with the same iPad and getting great service from each one. Finally they get a bit tatie on the spine but the protection remains. I look for STM by name. I like the firm magnetic cover lock and corner protection. My iPad has survived years of hard travel, still looking pristine.

I really like this case, and will be returning my lifeproof case.This case seems to strike a nice balance between...- protection (I classify this as one of the more protective cases - I particularly like the extra protection at the edges)- weight (it is lightweight, especially compared to similarly-protective cases; it seems lighter than the lifeproof case, even without the lifeproof front cover)- "comfort features" (it is "grippier" than the hard plastic kind, like lifeproof; I wish it was more of a softer or gel-like plastic, but it is still easy and comfortable to hold; I also like the front cover, including how it angles. I have not experienced the problem others mentioned)- aesthetics (I like the see through backing and the pesto color is like a cool army green that pairs nicely with my black/space gray ipad)

I really like this case! It is a tough, nicely designed protective case that gives you confidence that if you drop your iPad it wont be hurt. It is pretty, especially the clear polycarbonate back, and feels good to your hands. Thanks to the unusual closing tab that is attached to the front cover, and it's very strong magnets, the cover won't fly open no matter which way you hold the iPad. I would give it five stars except for these small issues:1. In spite of being a very thin case, which is good, it is a little heavy when you are using it to read books.2. The bottom of the case (the part that goes across the speakers) is too limber and pulls away from the case if you happen to push it with you thumb or finger. It would be better if the thin strips making up this area could be hardened just a bit or just eliminated.3. The large, powerful, closing tab has to be folded away between the iPad front and back covers to keep it from flopping around when you are holding the unit like a book. A better design would be to allow the magnets to hold it to the back when in use.I've learned to close the cover by using just one hand: just flip the front cover closed and the magnetic closing tab will swing to the back by itself and snap shut against the back of the unit.In spite of the small issues I listed, I recommend the case to everyone looking for protection, good looks, and unique design (which I like). You can expect to receive a lot of nice comments from others who see it.

I am very disappointed with this case. It does not work with the iPad Air 2. The volume controls on the side of the case do not line up with the volume buttons on my iPad. The buttons on the case are higher than the buttons on the iPad. Very poor design. I cannot use the buttons while the iPad is in the case and this is very inconvenient. I did not have this problem with my old STM case. I expected the new one to fit the same way the old one did, but it does not. Beware!

This case is very sturdy, a little heavy but you can feel your ipad is well protected against accidental drops, very good quality, but is not the best options if you carry the ipad on your hand most of the time, is better for placing it on a table.

Great case, very lightweight. Turns off the iPad when the case is closed and turns on when the case is opened. Just the case I was looking for.

Very rebuts case. Had one fur 9 years. Just had to replace it as the fabric part was worn due to daily use. Excellent protection.

Voici le deuxième que j'achète en quasiment 10 ans! C'est le top du top pour protéger son iPad Air 2, et très pratique pour être utilisé en support, je le recommande, c'est le meilleur en matière de qualité et robustesse que j'ai trouvé sur le marché.

La fina es la 2ª que compro de esta marca y este modelo, la primera más de 5 años de uso y retirada por los desgastes normales del uso, contentísimo y por eso repito. Queda muy grueso el iPad, pero la protección que le da la funda merece la pena. iPad caído al suelo y pisado llevando la funda y como si estuviese recién sacado de la caja de Apple.
