The media could not be loaded. As always, if you are going to use anything that is a potential fire hazard, be careful and take caution. With that being said, these charcoal discs worked very well. As advertised, when I lit one, there was some smoke but not too much, and while there was an initial odor, it wasn’t over powering. Be sure you are in a well ventilated area of your home when you use these, so you can ensure you don’t unintentionally trigger the fire alarm. If using for burning sage or any type of smudging, take caution and never leave unattended. I’m very happy with this product and would recommend it.

I have purchased this particular brand of charcoals for more than 5 years now and the quality is always excellent. They light up easily and burn even and steady for the purpose I use them for.

Although the seller includes the size of the charcoal. The charcoal was really small I'm annoyed with these companies CONTINUING to shrink the size of products, and continue to RAISE the prices! About 5 yrs ago i purchased 33mm charcoal and it was NOT this small.However it does burn good, but not long at all! It lights easy!And the shipping arrived quickly.It arrived not wrapped or packed to hide what i bought. I do NOT need for everyone to see my purchase. However it was my fault because amazon asked me something about arriving in a container or something like that. I will Not select container again.

Pros - The way these briquettes light is really cool, and they work well with both resin and powder incense. They are also pretty long lasting. But these are definitely NOT low smoke. They gave me a massive headache, and made the entire household cough. Will be returning.
