My home is a 3 bed Victorian semi with timber sash windows so as you can imagine it gets drafty even with central heating on. I wanted a heater that was economical and heated a large living room (approx) 5m x 5m to a comfortable temperature. The heater does the job impressively and I love the timer function which means I can set it to come on in the morning at a time to suit me. In fact I love the heater so much I have purchased a second as it’s quite heavy 13.5kg it got a bit much taking it up and down the stairs! Finally, I also judge the value of a product by its customer service and Ansio seem to be pretty keen on that too, the boxing which the heater comes in has customer service number clearly written on the front. It was easy opened and had plenty of packing in box to protect the heater during shipping. It was easy to set up, no tools needed. You just attach the feet with 4 wing nuts. Remember to turn the power switch on before you try an use it! It's on the right hand side of the heater when you are facing the control panel. You need 2 AAA batteries for the remote control. After turning the heater on, 20 minutes later my room was nice and cozy! The heater comes with a 3 year warranty and appears to be very well made. The fit and finish is perfect! I am very happy with my purchase! I will update this after using it for a few weeks. Update** the heater is still going great! I would like to point out that the timer only turns off the heater in 1 HR segments if you are using it and want it to turn off automatically at a certain time or if you want it to turn on at a certain time in 1 HR segments.
