I spent a lot of time looking for something to replace our large rubbermaid pitchers and finally decided to take a chance on these.I don't understand the complaints people have about not being able to remove the tops for cleaning (orange part with handle). Mine screw on and off easily.These are by far better than the 1 gallon rubbermaid pitchers I had, which had a handle built in and was impossible to clean.I use them to make iced tea from scratch using loose leaf tea. The screen insert works perfect, no loose leaves were able to escape, they lifted out and the used leaves were rinsed out easily.Since I use an electric kettle to boil water I am able to pour it directly into the pitcher, over the tea leaves and I could touch the outside of the container without getting burnt. With the rubbermaid the outside of the container got as hot as the boiling water inside. This is important with a small child in the house.The lid, handle and pour spout design are amazing. It's completely air tight! I can add sugar to the boiling water, close the top and flip it completely upside down to shake and it doesn't leak! The ability to control the pour and easily pick it up with one hand is a necessity. I could never do that with the rubbermaid.It is tall, so that may be an issue for some refridgerators, but since we were already accustomed to using the larger rubbermaid pitchers they are fine for us. We go through a lot of iced tea so I like the large size and I still make them two at a time. It is slightly smaller than the rubbermaid which was a full gallon, but it is still plenty large. I also like that it is narrow. Plus, since it's water tight you could probably store it on its side if you had too.It does not seem to stain from the tea the way the rubbermaid did either. And I can put every part in the dishwasher!I will be buying more as gifts for family, these are awesome.

When I first recieved the item I was off put by the items shape and size, although it is as described and image I didn't realize how awkward it is.The lid is a twist for partial opening type pour which caused an accident on first use because it's hard to tell how open it is and apparently my son just twisted the lid to the point pouring caused the lid to fall off and spill EVERWHERE.The defuse pieces are nice. They lock into the lid as it has a second lip to hold it securely in place, however it also causes frustration because it was easy for the kids to figure out.I ended up returning the item as the shape of it made it difficult for storage. Be advised that when returning this item high will pay shipping and handling fees therefore not receiving a full refund ( I am a prime member)

I love this pitcher! I did strawberry water first, then cumcumber water... I made it and let sit overnight , it was Delicious! Perfect! I am an ALL WATER person... this is So Great!!! I love it!!!!

OK, I don't love this pitcher, but I do like this pitcher. It is my first infusion pitcher. What I am not a fan of is how the lid spins off and the fluid pours out. It doesn't come out as controlled as I would like, and unfortunately, there's really no other way to adjust the flow. It's simply open or shut. As it pours, liquid tends to want to come out the sides as opposed to down the main spout. So you have to make sure you go very slow to keep it channeled in the spout. This can be difficult as you tip it higher up because gravity pulls down. So it's just not always as controlled is I would prefer. In addition, The orange plastic parts are a very cheap hard plastic which I am not a fan of. It's the type of plastic that with one wrong slip/drop, it could potentially cause it to crack or break. I do like how narrow it is. The total width is approximately 4 inches, but depth is approximately 8.5-9 inches. It fits nice in the fridge if you don't have lots of vertical space, but you will need room for the depth of the container.

This is an invaluable product! I cut back on my coffee intake and instead, was trying to drink iced mint green tea. What a hassle... making each cup of tea, cup-by-cup, and then chilling it - again, cup-by-cup. The tea insert is AMAZING. You just stuff it full of mint and green tea bags, add slightly cooled off hot water and BINGO - iced tea for days in a row. Likewise, the hassle of lemon-infused ice water is over. Just stuff cut lemons in the insert, fill and chill. No more squeezing lemons, removing pits, or clean-up of the labor-intensive messy preparation. So healthy! And though I've not yet used the ice insert, it will be great for serving ice cold bevvies to guests. LOVE THIS!!

Really disappointed with the quality of this item after the ratings it received. For one, because of the handle sticking out so far, it would take up a bunch of room in the fridge. Additionally, when I pulled it out of the box and attempted to set the diffuser in then tighten the lid, the diffuser just kind of bounces around which would be strange when you go to pour, and the lid had to be screwed on exceptionally tight to get the handle to line up straight with the pitcher. As I tightened it, my attention was drawn to the fact that the cheap plastic pitcher was flexing under the slight pressure of my hand. I like the idea of this pitcher, and the orange color lid, but it is a fail as far as I am concerned and it has been returned.

I've been using this daily for over a month. It's super easy to fill the infuser. The slim design allows it to fit easily in a refrigerator door along with a gallon jug and a 1/2 gallon container of milk.I typically refill the water 2 or 3 times before changing the infusion. When I do change the infusion, I find it's important to remove the orange top and thoroughly clean each part.The smart design, multiple inserts and size make this a great addition to any kitchen.
