As you can see in my attached split screen photo, this bed cover looks nothing like the product pictured online, far more brown than gold. I tried putting a throw blanket on the end of the bed, to brighten it up a bit. Unfortunately, I was overly enthusiastic when this package arrived and prematurely cut off the tags, otherwise I would have returned it. Thankfully, I have brown curtains, so it matches my bedroom colours. This cover is VERY shiny in certain lighting. Two of the decorative cushions aren't really my taste (too busy on an already busy quilt). I tucked the two pillow shams behind my regular pillows to lighten things up a bit. The cover is comfortable to sleep under. It is a lightweight cover. It will be perfect in the summer. I never found it stiff at all, as some reviews commented. As for size, it fits like a duvet cover, not overly big. It is the perfect size for my king memory foam bed. I don't hate this cover, but I LOVED the online photo of it and I was disappointed not to get the quilt I was expecting.

I bought this in January of 2021. It has a weird smell. I thought the smell might go away after a while but it’s been 7 months and it still has a strong smell. I tried to wash it but the smell didn’t go away. I want to return it, but it has passed the return date. I paid over $200 for this. There shouldn’t have been any weird smell. I am dissatisfied. It looks pretty but the smell is unpleasant. The manufacturer should be responsible for this.

i bought one quilted blanket with different design which I liked but then I saw this one and thought it will go better with my bedroom décor. so I ordered this one to compare with the other one and see how it looks. the design is good but gold and brown almost lost in each other because of the shininess of the fabric. you hardly can see the design because of its shine. gave it back.

The set was very close to what I was looking for and matched my decor exactly. Enough gold tones in the coverlet to keep the room bright but not overly goldish. I bought king size for a queen bed and am able to put it on the bed with the stripes going vertical or horizontal which gives a nice chang-up to the bed. The weight is perfect and provides a lot of warmth for me. Great price point also.

Very pleased with this purchase. The coverlet which is Queen size is long enough to be a bedspread if you wish. It has a rich look, it is well made and not too heavy which is what we wanted. We would order Madison Park items anytime as we are always happy with their products.
