Exactly what I hoped for
Lovely antique looking small globe. It fit right on the desk without taking up the room of a full sized globe. It was exactly what I was looking for.

Nice Small Globe
The globe, although small...8 inch diameter...looks real good...has a nice quality feel...and can be rotated about 2 axes which aides looking at the southern hemisphere

Very pleased with this one!
No flaws detected. Has a nice sturdy felt lined base. Arrived in a suitable for gift giving box in perfect condition. No wobbles or rattles. Looks at home on any nice furniture. Nice to not need to lift the entire globe to view the southern hemisphere. I am pretty picky about these things, and I am happy to say that I recommend it!

Quality Appearance
This is a nice globe that is competitively priced. It's a bit smaller than a standard classroom globe, but it has a very nice pivoting metal stand. I haven't inspected all details regarding current accuracy of countries, ect. Many globes have not yet included labeling for the new "Southern Ocean" recently recognized by National Geographic.

This is a classic, smaller globe. It’s great for a personal library, den or office.

Beautiful little globe
I especially like that this little globe is gimbal-mounted; you can sit with it in your lap or on a table, and easily bring any section of it up to face you.

Nice
Nice little globe, need magnifying glass to read print but the print quality is good, base is solid and attractive. Wish more globes were available with the 360 x 360 rotation ability, it makes it so much easier to view the southern hemisphere.

Price is questionable
The globe is very attractive, although kind of small to see much detail. You won't be able to find the Gaza Strip on it. My biggest complaint is that I paid $105 for it, and inside the box is an invoice/packing slip that says $39.99??? So who made the extra $65? Amazon, or the seller?
