Very attractive product with quality materials but we found the carpet material to be rather slippery actually unless your pet has longer claws to grip on with. Our biggest concern and what became dangerous immediately was the function that makes the stairs convertible also allows them to pop out. Our dogs foot bumped under the step while walking up which caused the step to pop out of the slot and fall completely flat. So the second foot then did not have a step to go to and the stumble started. Thankfully we were there monitoring so there was no fall and no bad memories of steps and ramps but it could have been bad. Our other dog is handicapped which is one of the big reasons we got this convertible one but in its current state it is too dangerous for us. We could have maybe added rubber around the tip of the inserts that make the ramp into steps but for the price we didn’t want to have to make after market adjustments for it to work. We have returned it but as the mom of a handicapped pup felt it important to share our experience so other pups didn’t get hurt or have a bad experience.

I bought this for my dying 6 year old dog as he is not able to jump up on the bed at night which has been a lifetime habit. The ladder is very well made and is very sturdy. My dog weighs just over 100 pounds and this ladder could easily handle him. One word of caution. My dog never learned to walk up a ladder or ramp as a pup and no matter what I do he won't use it. My vet said she has the same issue with her 11 year old dog. If you are very good at training your older dog please do not hesitate as this is a very well made ladder. Oh and it comes fully assembled!!

The concept for this is great. The setup and take down is not safe for the pet owner. I purchased to to carry in my car to help my dog in and out. It is heavy and I find it flops around pinching my finger when I attempt to set up. Once set up it is great for my Golden Retriever. But, again, taking it down is not easy to to handle. This product might be good if you plan on rarely moving it. But for transporting in a car, I can’t recommend it.

There is really no assembly, the carpeted stairs are great for paws (no slipping and sliding)! Easy to open and close to put out of the way. My bulldog puppy weighs 38 pounds, and it is more than sturdy enough for him. Best of all, he had no trouble adapting to using them.The only slight drawback is the weight. It's a bit heavy to carry to the car , if I want to take him for a ride.But otherwise, a super product.

I have a 65 pound lab that needs these stairs. So, he needs something sturdy. These are, but they are heavy. My lab has weakness in his back legs, hence the stairs. But he drags his back legs and is able to flip the steps shut so he falls and was justifiably afraid of the stairs. I placed velcro on the support that raises each step so that that doesn't happen. I would greatly recommend this to anyone who buys these steps. Actually, this is something the manufacturer could do to greatly enhance the value of their steps - they need these to be secure for pets and allowing them to fall off isn't good. Also, there needs to be something that prevents the back support from flying open when these stairs are being moved. This is a heavy piece of furniture and having that support fly open and closed on your hands hurts. A lot.That said, with the velcro and something to secure the back, I think these will be real good for my dog.

Love this stair/ramp combo! The diversity of ramp/step/combo options are awesome! Quality build and very nice looking piece of furniture. Top notch quality! Highly recommend and would purchase again!Please note: make sure to verify that your step is securely in place before letting your dogs use it. The first time my little dog jumped down on it, the stair dropped down and scared her.

LOVE these stairs! Very sturdy, attractive, great quality of products used, packaged with care!! All in all, I'm over the moon with these! Only advice I would offer is to be able to lock the steps, whether as a ramp or as stairs, or lying flat. I am applying metal clips to the back of each step myself so that I can lock the stairs in order to transport without pinching and, most importantly, so my furbabies don't accidentally bump a stair and it falls flat.

We bought this for our dog to get into our truck so that he wouldn't bang his back legs on the running boards. He's very skittish and we were uncertain he would use them. The first time we put them out he had no fear of climbing them. He's a 65 lb dog and the stairs didn't move at all.They are well made and sturdy. We like the fact they can be adjusted to a lower height and fold down to a manageable size taking relatively little space in the truck. We're happy we found these steps.

JE l'adore! Je cherchais depuis 10 ans un mini escaliers pour mes petits chiens. Il est parfait! Les marches sont larges, ce qui aide grandement les chiens agés. Il est solide et fait de matériaux de qualité. La finition est parfaite. Il est un peu lourd, mais tellement parfait pour le reste que ça compense.

Picked up these to help my little senior get on the bed. We have a 13 year old Jack who is finding it harder to leap up and down so far. She is comfortable on these, they are great height, love that they can be adjusted into a ramp and already put together. Even I walked up the steps and they were just fine. Maybe if your dog is bouncy something tacky to hold the steps at your setting would be helpful (ours is only 10 lbs). Also love that they fold flat so can slide under our bed for storage if we wanted.

I like the style but I don't like that the legs of the stairs are bending making it not sturdy.

My little chihuahua has no problem hoping up on the bed using this 🥰 Very happy with it
