Your model is clearly an upgrade but for the price of this charger it's worth giving it a try. I will assume that the method for charging is the same but I can't say definitively. I can tell you that if the devices are similar in design with the exception of some softwear features it should work..just fine...I find that it is even better than the charger that comes with the phone ..it has a longer cord and is much easier to attach to the device.
