Helps with reading and spelling!
Bought for a 3 year to help them start reading and spelling. This little toy makes it fun. I'd say it is probably more suited to a 4 year old (upwards).Well made, lovely quality and design. It isn't too big either, so easy to pack away when not in use.Definitely recommend 👍

great little gift
this is a gist for my about to be 4 year old grandson so he hasn't opened it yet but i think it looks great. I'm sure he'll learn from it and might help his attention span to develop.Shame there was a sticker from the company right on the front of the box!

Good fun learning game
This is a game that keeps on giving. Great for keeping children who understand there alphabet entertained amused indoor. Great wet day game! Plus a bonus of learning while having fun. My son is 3 years and 2 months old, and I thought he’d be too young. However he responded really well to to this word and spelling game. We’ve now played this game twice and it kept his attention for a good 30 to 40 minuets.Personally I think the games rule should have a simpler instructions for 3-4 years olds. The cards are slightly difficult to get out of the perforated cut edges. Maybe better thinker card. Recycled plastic would also be a winner too.On a positive this game will be used until my son is 6-7 years olds, as got so many different words to spell and it visual, which I think my son responds best to.

Good concept but not ideal for early year reading
The idea behind this product is brilliant - simple spelling, high frequency words with lovely clear pictures.Where this product falls down is that the it is all in capital letters but the UK schooling system early readers are taught to recognise lower case letters which can make this product both frustrating and confusing to its target user. Think carefully before buying to help with early year letter recognition as you might end up muddying the waters.
