I shouldn't have worried as it's in great shape (a few minor scuffs) and is just as heavily made as the seven foot one is. It doesn't sit completely level though, if weight isn't on it, but it does if I stand on it. So far, I'm very happy with it and it looks perfect for jobs around the house like washing inside windows and cleaning areas that are a bit out of my reach. It's not as heavy or bulky to move about for me either, when I don't need the taller one. These are excellent ladders, in my opinion.
