My tub/shower came with a very fancy shower curtain rod that was expensive, but when installed it was not sturdy at all! I bought this item to replace the other one, and I am amazed at how sturdy it is! It’s not flimsy at all, and it looks very nice.

It’s not really hard to install this because I did it by myself 9 months pregnant but if you’re not handy, I wouldn’t recommend installing this yourself. Not made to be cut to fit ceiling height. The kit comes with screw inserts that fit the tubes that attach to your wall if you need to adjust where the rectangle needs to be but not any inserts for the size tubing that attaches to your ceiling. I have short ceilings, so I did cut to fit my ceiling but also had to problem solve to make it happen. Decently sturdy. Very light, and functions for what it’s meant for. Recommend a second set of hands.

Installed a 32x48 tub / shower, and was able to modify to the size I needed. Either cutter-grind or metal saw work fine. Just make sur to keep your flared ends, and work with the other ends of the pipes

Think it's perfect. Fitted easy above a very large 70's tub. Definitely value for money.

I have purchased this twice now, but had to return the second one. I moved into a home with two clawfoot tubs, and one of them had a horrible bar that was too short for the tub and so the curtains always blew in leaving no room to shower and water was everywhere...I bought one of these and it has definitely helped, but read the instructions well as the cuts are very important to do properly. You definitely need two people after a certain point. I liked the first one so i bought a second. Unfortunately, this isnt incredible quality so the second one had to be returned. I decided to first connect the last pieces (that needs to be tightened with an allen key once you get the right length), but when i went to adjust the length from the ceiling to the bar, the little bit was completely stripped by the allen key because it was such horrible quality. This left me unable to adjust the space between the ceiling to the bar. Definitely have someone helping to level the bar before tightening the end piece with the allen key, because the allen key will quickly strip it down so that it cant be tightened or taken out. Was incredibly frustrating so i returned it. This thing takes a lot of precision and time because things like that last part cant really be adjusted.
