This review is going to be a combined review, so you will see the same thing on 5 products. I use them in combination and feel they are connected. This review is for: Vikings Blade, Godfather Shaveology Shaving Cream Shaveology After Shave Shaveology Pre-Shave oil Feather, double Platinum blades I have been using an electric shaver for almost 9 years now. I got tired of the expensive blades for disposables and fast and easy was good for me at the time. I had 3 different shavers over the years. The last one, I have had about 6 years. They changed the blades on them 2 or 3 years ago. I dint ind the change but it always felt like I could feel the blades scraping my skin each time. It also did not get very close of a shave. I had been thinking of changing to wet shaving for a long period of time. Well its time for a new cartridge ~100.00, so nows the time to switch. I made the switch using a mail order service. After 4 shaves I hated it. The products were ok and were very citrus and refreshing but I did not like the razor itself and it was just not “there” So I ordered the Godfather blade by Viking. This thing is AMAZING! I love the weight to it, I feel like I’m holding something substantial and feel more confident its not going to slide out of my hands and slice my throat open. I also switched to Feather Blades. I figured if I want close and precise might as well go all in. I must confess, when I put on the feather blade, I had prepped towels for the presumes carnage, but there was none. The blades and this viking blade system, just floated over my skin and I could barely feel it doing anything, but it was! So I have very happy with the blades and the razor. The Shaveology products are very nice. I LOVE the scent. Its very guy scented, almost cologne smelling and it just has such a great clean feeling without smelling too young and too old. (so hard to explain) but its great. The pre-shave oil is nice and thick and puts on a good layer. Letting it soak on for about 2-3 minutes while you prep the shave cream and your brush makes it better. The shave cream was weird for me as its a more dry cream and the last one I used was a little more wet. I did not use my bowl and instead put a little bit on the brush directly and applied it. It took about 15 seconds but started turning into such a creamy almost yogurt like consistency. It felt really nice!!! Shaving was very pleasant, as I mentioned above, its just super smooth and feels nice. The post shave balm is where its at though. I can’t say enough about this. The smell, the feel, and the feel on my face afterwards. I am still a noob at wet shaving this way so irritation is still present as I am getting the technique down pat. This soothes the face very well and leaves you refreshed. Overall I love all of these products and would recommend any of them to anyone.

I began wet shaving about three or four years ago. I have really experimented a lot, with different products, from blades, to oils, to creams, to balms, etc. I have some that I like and some I hate, but every now and then I try to find something better. I have used most of the usual suspects, from Taylor of Old Bond Street, Art of Shaving, Jack Blacks, Proraso, etc. I recently fell in love with some of Shaveology's other offerings, and decided to try this one. At first, its much more firm than I was used to, not the creamy texture of other brands, but softer than a shave soap. Maybe this will last longer, who knows. It whips up a great lather, and has a nice simple smell. It feels great, and the razor glides very well. The lather seems to last pretty well too. So far, I am very impressed and this is now my go to shave cream/soap. Fantastic close shave, very smooth, with little to no razor burn.

Not a bad shave ... lather is not that rich. It works fine but I was still getting redness and irritated skin. Switched to another Popular brand..... and lather is thick and all irritation is gone... could just be me .... I'm giving mine away..

I'm not the guy who writes reviews; time is too precious. But occasionally, I stumble across a product(s) I can't help but rant and rave about. Boy did I hit the jackpot with Shaveology! Before serendipitously stumbling on Shaveology, shaving was a chore I'd skip more often than not—every chance I could get away with in fact. Now shaving is my weekly self-indulgent ritual I never miss. Shaveology's butterfly razor is an exquisite instrument that gives a baby-smooth shave once you learn how to wield it. It is truly a gentleman's tool. And then there are Shaveology's luxurious line of shaving products of which I've tried their pre-shave oil, shave lather, and aftershave balm. I can't give these products high enough praise. Shaveology uses the highest quality ingredients in their shaving products, leaving my skin feeling incredible and me smelling delicious! After a Shaveology shave, I feel like a prince.

I lathers up really great. Not sure if the age defying works but with the brush and heating the shave bowl up with hot water it helps me get a closer shave.

I prefer to shave with soap that is applied with a shaving brush. While there are some available in local stores, none really made me happy. I did a search on Amazon (I am older and a still prefer making personal care purchases in person at a store so Amazon is not my usual go to) and came across Shaveology. I did some research about the company and really liked what I saw. So, I ordered the anti-aging shaving cream because every little bit of help counts! I am now a devoted customer of Shaveology and have recommended them to friends. Awesome product!

I bought this from amazon a few months ago , I didn't sense any seaweed-vegetal or oceanic aspects. I liked it at first, gently scented and moisturizing but it was too dense and pasty to be applied easily with my fingers and time consuming to wash off the razor. I need shaving products that allow me to shave quickly without irritation- additionally it should not dull the gillette fusion proglide blade prematurely like shaving oils seem to do. My shaving experience improved markedly after I started using a silver tip badger brush which created a light foamy cream that was easy to apply and rinse off. Also it works well with my other facial care products . I recommend it!

Nice rich lather you do need to apply with a brush though. Have had a nice comfortable shave with this product smells nice too. Does what it says on the tin as they say .

I very rarely write reviews for things I buy on Amazon. Mainly because most stuff I buy does what I expect it to do and I've got better things to do than write hundreds of reviews saying "it does what it says on the tin". Every once in a while though something comes along which totally out shines your expectations. This shaving cream by Shaveology is one such product. I couldn't believe the closeness of the shave I got the first time I used this. How could just changing the shave cream I used make such a difference? Totally worth every penny, I'm a convert and will be buying again when I run out.

This shave cream works fine and does not smell overly scented. It lathers up quite well but just doesn't feel like a premium product as it claims to be. I have used cheap shave cream and I've used expensive ones and I would have been happy with this product if I'd paid around a fiver for it.
