Brilliant book for anyone who loves Harley Davidson

Bought as xmas present for my grandson.

I bought this book for my husband who as the owner of two vintage H.D's is a self-proclaimed (if delusional) expert and irrepressable critic on the subject's main-stream literature. I was pleasantly surprised when he found it compulsive reading. Admittedly the high ratio of glossy photos to words played a part. He even used this book above all the others in his substantial library of bike-porn to choose the colour for his Electroglide's next paint job. Although the book only shows a small selection of models through the ages it appears to be more intelligent and knowledable in its choices giving the reader a glimpse of the more eclectic designs as well as the classically worshipped. The photos are stunning and the text informative yet brief (kind of a bluffer's guide to Harley's) Anyone buying this book or receiving it as a gift is bound to be fantasizing and longing for the real thing and although it could not possibly fulfill that desire it is probably the next best thing.

If your buying for yourself or another Harley fan you can’t be disappointed unless your soul has been removed. Just buy it!

This book is a gift. I had a peek through my boyfriend is going to love it.

I got this book for my father with the caveat that I'd get a good solid read of it whenever he finished up with it. The book is big and many of the pictures fill the pages. So you really can see a lot of the detail which I especially love when looking at the old bikes. There's not so much text that you're reading more than looking at pictures, which I'd think would appeal to the motorcycle lover. I mean we like to look around, right? Pictures are what we focus on. Though the text offers a ton of cool facts and a load of interesting history. It's a fun book to flip through and just as much fun to sit and read with a big bowl of popcorn and your favorite frosty beverage.

This book is amazing!! I bought this for my dad as a gift because he is a HUGE Harley fan, They are his favorite motorcycle and he has been riding them as long as I can remember. The pictures in this book are beautiful. The colors are all very vivid and the pictures clear. The amount of new Harley facts we know now is crazy. I would recommend buying this if you or someone you know is a die hard Harley fan. My dad loved this.
