Hi, The tank has the same base connection which is called 510. That is the silver threaded bit at the bottom you can see on the tank in the photo. The tank will fit pretty much all mods, just be sure to use it at the correct wattage. If you don't, then you may burn the coil out prematurely.

Why does price of black tank go from advertised price of £2.99/£3.99 to over £5 when selected?

On amazon there are multiple sellers. Amazon will choose the seller they want you to buy from, and they may not offer you the one which is the best value for money. One of the sellers is obviously selling this at the price you are looking for but as Amazon will make more money from you by you buying from their suggested person rather than what is in YOUR interest, you will have to select who you wish to purchase it from. As an independent seller speaking on behalf of others, Amazon allow us to sell on the platform but they would much rather you bought from their warehouses as they get a bigger commission from the sale. This applies across all of Amazon as well by the way, it isn't on this item only... You should always look at the "Buy from £xx.00 X no. of Sellers" before committing to any purchase. You will probably save yourself more money in the long run.

No you can't change the coils they are a sealed unit once the coil goes you throw the whole thing
