The black is quite bold and very smooth. It’s comfortable to hold. It dries quickly. If you use them for art then I can say if needing to fill in large portions of black in an area, it’s a quick task and it’s easy to avoid spottiness while doing so despite the fact how the pen is really good for creating small details due to its millimeter size. (See image to reference its size.)With that said, I was initially only interested in these due to the ultra fine tip point, but I had no idea how good these actually would turn out. Price is quite fair for the quality. I have no interest in trying something else out at this point, and I just hope the manufacturer will continue to produce them for a long time.
