The best one by miles from several other owned vacuums
This is, simply, the best leaf vacuum I’ve had (based on 4 previous brands). I had the Challenge one which was great also but no longer in production. The Von Haus one was OK (less expensive which makes it a good buy for light work imo). I also had the Einhell one which is garbage (spent more time unblocking it due to its pathetically small aperture! This one is super-powerful - dealing with compressed bundles of wet leaves with ease. It great to handle - not heavy and glides along the gravel etc. The variable speed means it can be set to not pick up stones etc. I sucked up some polythene by mistake but the metal blades shredded that too so no need to unblock. Another fantastic design element of this unit is that, should you need to unblock, it’s just a matter of unscrewing a big plastic nut that then allows you to remove the nozzle in one easy action to get right to the blades - no need to have a screwdriver in your pocket like the Einhell disaster! I haven’t used for blowing as I have a battery Dewalt unit for that but it’s a simple job (like the unblocking explained above) to switch the nozzle and fan. All in all, a world class unit.

Great Investment
Over the years, I’ve relied on a broom to sweep up the leaves on our driveway, a task I’ve never enjoyed. Living between two neighbours with large trees that shed endlessly through October and November, it always felt like a losing battle. This year, I finally decided to invest in the Bosch Electric Leaf Blower and Vacuum, and honestly, it’s the best decision I’ve made for my outdoor maintenance routine. The setup, however, was a bit of a challenge. Assembling the vacuum pipes was tricky, stubborn to fit together, and I accidentally put one the wrong way around, which prevented me from attaching the collection bag. This led to a mini meltdown as I wrestled to detach and reassemble the pipes. Thankfully, I got it sorted out in the end, but I’d strongly recommend watching an online video guide to make the process smoother. Once assembled, the unit’s power was impressive. It’s quite heavy, but the included shoulder strap helps distribute the weight, making it manageable. The vacuum function made short work of the thick layer of leaves on my driveway, shredding them efficiently into the large 50-litre collection bag. I was amazed by how much it could hold before needing to be emptied, saving me time and effort. A few days later, when a fresh layer of leaves had settled, I switched to the blower function. Attaching the blower was quick and easy, and it proved highly effective at moving the leaves away from the house. The variable speed control was a nice touch, letting me adjust the power to suit the job. Overall, the Bosch UniversalGardenTidy 3000 is a great product. It’s powerful, efficient, and versatile, handling both blowing and vacuuming with ease. That said, the weight of the unit might not suit everyone, and the initial setup can be frustrating. But for anyone tired of manual leaf clearing, this tool is a fantastic investment.

Decent mains powered vacuum and blower
A decent mains powered leaf vacuum and blower powered via mains electricity through a 15 metre cable.. We have purchased this item solely for the vacuum function to collect leaves as we already possess a petrol leaf blower which can be used independent of mains power anywhere in our larger garden. The Bosch item is well built, is powerful and it hass demonstrated that it can collect leaves and particularly in our garden, acorns from the lawns, patio and flower beds. Assembly is simple as is changing the function from vacuum to blow. The supplied 50 litre bag is more than sufficient and I doubt if if will ever fill it as the weight and bulk of that quantity of shredded damp leaves will render the vacuum difficult to use. Despite the fact that this item is ideally used to collect dry leaves, invariably users will collect damp vegetation in a normal UK garden and this does reduce the shredding performance and increase the weight of the debris collected, so be warned. Overall a decent mains powered blower and vacuum ideal for use in a small garden or larger garden if you have sufficient power outlets.

Well built and good value
I bought this to replace 2 previous shredder vacuum which were cheaper but a waste of money. This Bosch is well made and its much easier to clean the blade if required. The zip on the bag works well, much better than the cheaper versions which jammed or split. Its quite heavy but manageable if you use the shoulder strap and empty the bag regularly. It chops finely so I am looking forward to some good leaf mold next year. I made some lovely stuff last year by shredding with the lawn mower but this combined vacuum shredder is more efficient.

Top of the range garden vac.
A brilliant piece of kit. So powerful, it's been redesigned with several better points . It's quieter than before, you don't need to use full power very often and the collection bag is greatly improved. It has a much easier bag fitting system and skirts down each side of the bag to stop the dust in the bag blowing through the material and covering your clothes like all the other makes do.

Great piece of equipment
The product itself is brilliant. The instruction guide could have been clearer and would have given 5 stars if so. Used first time on our large garden and it’s sucked up all the leaves including pine needles which is a huge bonus for us. Not tried the leaf blower yet but I will assume that is equally as good. The power button is simple and easy to switch between how much pressure you need with the a simple turn of the switch. It is a robust tool but I’m a female and didn’t find it too heavy to carry. The shoulder strap is useful, the handle position is adjustable to what suits you. The bag capacity is fairly large for collecting your leaves. The leaves are shredded automatically when using. Long suction tube which actually reaches the ground! It’s in 3 connecting parts when you assemble it. The disconnection of the suction head with bag is really easy when needing to empty your collected rubbish into your garden bin. All in all this is the best one I’ve ever bought. Really pleased. Will make life so much simpler. We chose the corded version as we have a large garden. Have found in the past that cordless ones don’t power up / hold enough charge for extended use. It takes more than 20 minutes to do all of our garden and have found that our Ryobi chargeable only lasts for 20 minutes before it needs recharging. Hope that helps.

Bosch Garden Vac
Received today(22.3.26) it is not easy for a lady to put together on her own it needs mussel but I persisted - it took 30 mins. It is not the lightest one I have used but I can manage it - Iam 67. it picks up leaves very well and I like the feature the you can have a variable speed. I would recommend this to family and friends.

Quality garden tidy does its job properly
Having bought a number of cheaper blowers they all suffered from same issues after a year or so. The bags clip onto motor assembly using a nylon clip which breaks, the blow or suction is a plastic paddle which gets stuck, the tube to the bag is too narrow and gets clogged. All of these are addressed, so although more expensive it actually does what is required. It is solid and many of the parts which are plastic or metal but hardly strong are now reassuringly solid and I expect will last doing their job.
