Amscan 241403 Americana Welcome MDF Sign, 28" x 4", 1 Pc

I bought this to hang outside. It is held together with twine so I’m not sure how long it will last but it would be easy enough to change or reinforce. It’s cute and I bought it on sale so I am happy with it!

Such a cute sign and so reasonably priced! I had it on my front door for the July 4th holiday. I would definitely snag this one!

I wanted this sign for my front door step and hadn't had any luck finding anything in the stores. It is very cute. Fairly well made. I'm in Arizona so I'm sure the heat and sun will eventually fade it. But for now it is working great for my summer decoration and goes great with my burlap wreath.

I like the fact this sign is made of pressed wood as opposed to paper, so it will last for many years. It is a very versatile sign. You can display it year-round if your interior decor is a more rustic, primitive style. It has a wonderful vintage look; the colors are not bright and loud, but more subtle and neutral. So it will match any color scheme. The wood letters are stapled to twine and will display beautifully on your front door or inside your home or apartment. It is perfect for patriotic holidays as well, such as 4th of July, Memorial Day, Veteran's Day, etc. The price was fantastic, and a real bargain for a sign that you can use year after year.A word of caution: because the letters are stapled to twine, I don't know how well this sign will hold up to the elements if displayed outside for a long period of time. In Hawaii, the sun and salt air is really brutal, so the twine would not hold up with a lot of heat and sun exposure. The staples will definitely rust if this sign is kept outdoors and the pressed wood might swell up and separate if this sign is exposed to rain. If your front door is in a covered or alcoved area like mine is, then the sign should be fine.Please note the description said the sign can be hung "by the attached blue satin ribbon" but beige twine was used, not ribbon. For the price, it's a nice sign, but I recommend it be hung indoors or on a door that is protected from the elements.

Bought this for my front door summer decor - we do an Americana theme every year, so I was looking for something like this with good value for quite a while.The sign looks really nice and quite crafty. Would definitely recommend!The item is exactly as described: so CONFIRM THE DIMENSIONS before buying expecting a different size.
