For those of us that don't have anybody to put lotion/medicine on us I highly recommend it. I also highly recommend it for anybody who has to put on topical medications on parts of their body that are hard reach like your neck and shoulders. The little basket is from the Dollar Tree and it fits in there nicely with a lotion or medicine.

You're wasting almost no product using this as your applicator. This was just what I was looking for. Nearly everything else of this type had a pad or sponge that soaked up the med. This spreads the med nicely, gets it where it's needed.

I love this applicator-until it breaks. And I have gone through 3 of these within the last year. I finally gave up and am not going to order a replacement. There is a little hook on the back side of the wand that hooks/snaps so that the wand stays open. As you exert pressure on the wand by rolling it on your back, legs, etc-it creates stress on that point. Eventually it weakens enough that the plastic breaks. At that point there is no way to keep the wand open, it falls back in on itself. My hubby has epoxied the joint on two different wands so I could continue using the wand, but eventually that breaks too. And I am not using extra-ordinary pressure on the wand-it is just the way it is designed. A great idea, but needs some tweaking.

Finally a lotion applicator that actually works. This is my third attempt at buying a lotion applicator and I am very happy with it. The two rollers are rubberized and can be used for your entire body. I would purchase this again.
