The Silica is reusable and can be reactivated and reused by placing the sand on a non-food use oven tray and baking them between 100 degrees C and 120 degrees C for 2 hours. alternatively Silica gel beads can also be reactivated by microwave for about 10-15 mins at DEFROST. NOTE. The silica grains can contain odd specs and impurities as a result of the manufacturing process (unlike the beads the granular is not washed before packaging). Is there a way of knowing when it needs drying? Thanks.** A: Yes you could use more than once, but it would depend on the size of the flowers. There is not way of knowing unless you purchase a product with an indicator included (typically orange silica that goes green. I would suggest perhaps a light dryinging afer each use to be sure it is at it's most effective. **Q: Do you need to use this in a microwave or oven?** A: No you do not use it in a microwave or oven - simply seal in a container along with your flowers and leave for a period of time say 5-8 days (depends on the flowers / quantity). As the flowers dry the silica gel will aborb the moisture. What you can do is recharge the gel by putting in a oven on a low heat (say 100c for an hour or 2) or by putting in a microware on defrost for about 15-20 minutes but this is not the recommended method as it tends to break down the grains ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Drying flowers like a boss! *by P***6 on 28 July 2023* OmigodddDa!!!!
