The general purpose pliers have a wire cutter in the jaw, as opposed to some of their other models which don't have one. The 4" model is quite small ... handy for keeping in your briefcase or pocket and useful for getting at small hardware in tight places, but if you're looking for a standard sized set of vice grip pliers, this isn't it. **Q: Do these work well for cracking the nuts in shells or other size is needed?
