Guarana Antarctica, The Brazilian Original Guarana Soda, Regular, 11.83 fl oz (Pack of 12)

About twenty years ago we visited Brazil and discovered Antarctica Guarana, and fell in love. We suffered withdrawal back in the USA and spent a lot of time searching for a source. We found a town on the other side of the state with a large Brazilian population and found Guarana at a market there, so we made periodic pilgrimages to stock up on it. When we went to Japan, we discovered that some of their many corner vending machines had short stocks of our Guarana and ended up with an overweight suitcase full on the return trip. After periods of deprivation, we’ve discovered it’s now at Amazon and so we have it on automatic shipping, of course. Happy days! Hurray Amazon!!

It's delicious I've been wanting to try it for a while now and I'm glad I did, I will say it's one of my favorite sodas now. I only wish they were a bit cheaper as a normal 12 pack of soda is $5-$8 and a 24 pack around $14. I'll still give it a 5 star due to its taste and uniqueness.

Well, l saw this soda way back. Never heard of it before. From Mexico? The reviews made it appealing. l have been tempted in buying it for months ! But wouldn't because l had feared. I just didn't want to be out of $15. What if it tastes terrible and l wasted over $15 ? Once again, l was tempted this month again. I read the reviews again but l feared. What if my taste is different from theirs? l suffer with Acid reflex, what if l get sick?! But this time l wanted to take a gamble. I thought l just have to take a leap of faith. No harm no gain. I just had to find out for myself if this is any good. Well...it arrived today and l waited several hours. It needed to be iced cold for my liking. Well.... l have to say it's OUTSTANDING !! VERY VERY GOOD! GREAT TASTING! THE FLAVOR IS WELL BALANCED UNLIKE SPRITE WITH THAT TOO MUCH ACID TASTE. UNLIKE GINGERALE WITH THAT ACID TASTE. OH WOW!!! AMAZING!!!! THIS MAKES ME THINK OF 7 UP YEARS AGO, WITHOUT ALL THE BUBLES, WITHOUT THE ADDED LEMON FAVORING. THIS BEATS THEM ALL!!! DIFFERENTLY WILL BUY AGAIN...AND AGAIN.... 🥳👍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 A win! A WINNER !

Love this stuff but the prices are getting crazy pants for soda. Domestic products have prices nearly as high as imported product, the world is on fire and I get it but sometimes these are over 24.00 per case. May be cheaper to just grow gaurana domestically. Hydroponics and stuff.

No issue with the quality of these, they are the real deal, not flat, old, seemingly fresh. I ordered them WHEN the Weather Was NOT HOT; was in the Spring and Autumn. They were not sitting on a delivery truck in a 100 + degree day (was mid 70s to 80s F. I recall). CAUTION ABOUT TERRIBLE PACKAGING BY AMAZON: I ordered two 12 packs, twice. First order was ONLY two 12 packs. They shipped great, 2 in a box, fit great, no issues (a near glove fit shipping box, robust too). Second order, two 12 packs plus 1 bottle of razor oil, 2 electric razors (large shipping box with all items bouncing around within). 2 cans leaking, ALL over the OTHER ITEMS IN THE SAME SHIPPING BOX (box damaged at outside, minor pressure on soda can = thanks amazon for boxing these together). My new Panasonic razors that were carelessly placed, packaged in the ONE shipping box with these awkward, heavy, and seemingly delicate (aluminum soda can under pressure) 12 packs were sticky but still functioned OK. This item, the delicious flavor of Brazil's Amazon fruit AND real sugar (not corn syrup) yummy. It's refreshing, and some say gives a bit of energy kick (from the guarana fruit). I don't, nor ever have noticed that aspect, only the unique flavor of this drink. It's as good as if you were in Brazil, as I recall from my travels there many times. Tudo Bem!! Buy this, you will like it! Considering you only find this stuff in Brasil (or specialty stores few and far between in the US); It can be obtained "mostly" easily and without HOPEFULLY issue (only order 1 or 2, 12 packs at any one time) from online ordering (can't go to Kroger to find this stuff), the price is not terrible. It's the Risk of Shipping these. You may suffer some loss, a can or 2 perhaps, which will quickly escalate the cost of each can unfortunately. Do NOT order more than TWO 12 packs at any one time, do NOT add anything else to the order!! I just ordered 2 more today, hopefully Amazon ships them as they did last year, autumn, 2 in a box, all was great.

El sabor es único y por algo esta soda la toman en casi todas las churrasquerías de Brasil, va muy bien con este tipo de comida. Pero el costo de cada lata termina siendo comparable con algunas botellas de vino de 750ml
