CARS AND TRUCKS AND THINGS THAT GO

When the children were young, we checked it out from the library so often they thought it was ours! Finally had to get it! This is a favorite for children, grandchildren, and to have handy when friends and neighbors with children visit. Teaches so much, not only about transportation, but also has a "Where's Waldo" aspect to it as well. GREAT BOOK!

Bought this book for our granddaughter. It is certainly much nicer than the 50-year-old book that I still have that my grandfather bought for me. My wife and I enjoyed this book so much as children and we bought the same book for all five of our own children. There was no way that we weren't going to buy it for our first grandchild. She absolutely loves it and whenever she is with us she no longer wants to have her tablet which makes us very happy. It was nice to see the pickles family again and a search for the gold bug. So much more My Generation then the where's Waldo series. My wife and I even enjoyed the series Once Again. You can't go wrong with any of Richard Scarry books

Giving this as a gift to my grandson. My son enjoyed this book for hours. I have it memorized after reading it over and over. A must have.

Richard Scarry is a classic. I bought this for my two year-old grandson. He calls it the “GoGo book”. We can spend hours looking at all of the detailed illustrations. He’s learning words and occupations and insights into the world. It’s also incredibly humorous even on an adult level There is a little tiny gold bug on every page. We have fun looking for gold bug hidden within the illustrations This is the kind of book that will grow with a child. It is interesting for any age.

Always fun to pass on to the next generation! Fun book to start reading to small children.

I was pleased to find this book as my son, now age 39, enjoyed it as a child so I was afraid it was no longer in print. It arrived quickly and in perfect condition.

This Richard Scarry Cars and Trucks and Things That Go book is delightful. We are giving this to our three year old grandson for his birthday in a couple of weeks, and he will love it. Like all little people, he loves to read books with his family. This hard cover book is special as it allows you to ask them about the names of all the bright colors, and name the vehicles, what sounds they make, and where they might Go. You can discuss in little people terms…where each vehicle would be seen, and what each does. Even if it is a silly vehicle. Richard Scarry was one of my daughter’s favorite storybooks over 30 years ago, and it is so special that my 3 year old grandson will be reading these books, too. Love the quality of the book, the colors, the pictures, and the stories. Very happy with this book, and highly recommend.

My son loved this book as a child. We had all the Richard Scarey titles. These books may have been the cause of his ADHD. Richard Scarey loved a busy town!

This is a wonderful, imaginative book about different types of cars there can be. I think all boys will definitely be interested in it. It took my son a little time to get familiarized with the characters but once that was done, it's become his favorite book. He wants me to read it to him daily, no matter how many times its been read over and over. I bought the hardcover edition after reading one review on amazon saying that the paperback has a few pages missing in the front. It's a book mainly for kids' amusement and to develop an interest in books.

Delighted grandson. Fun book and a repeat read aloud. So much to discover.

My son LOVES this book!!! He will read it for hours all by himself, just looking at all the pictures. Richard Scarry is a wonderful author, we will definitely be getting more of his books.
